DANNY

Another tour was over and I couldn't wait to get back home to my stunning wife y/n. Three months was a long time to be away, especially when we had a three-year-old son called Troy who missed his daddy. George drops me off at my house and I grab my bags and walk up to my drive.

The house is silent as I drop my bags in the hallway. Just then y/n walks downstairs and squeals upon seeing me at the bottom of the stairs.

"Danny, you're back. I thought you were getting back tomorrow."

I smile and give her a little twirl.

"Surprise y/n."

y/n runs down the stairs and throws herself into my arms and I catch her with ease.

"We missed you, Danny."

I carry y/n back upstairs wanting to kiss my son goodnight.

"What did you do while I was away?"

"I'm such a badass Danny. I joined a book club."

I laugh, that was something I could see y/n doing. She loved books. I peck her lips.

"You're in a book club babe."

y/n scoffs, "yeah, but it's a badass book club, Daniel."

I put her down outside our sons' room and she kisses my lips before walking towards our bedroom. y/n knew I liked to be alone with Troy whenever I came back from tour.

"I'll be in soon y/n, get comfy."

She grins, "We have three months to make up for Daniel. Now go and see your son, I think he's missed you more than I have."

y/n disappears into the bedroom, god I'd missed her so much. Luckily we had a couple of months off now so I could make up for lost time.
