Being home again brought back so many good memories, but it also brought back the bad. I had flashbacks back to back, here and there about the times when Lisa, Lena, and I were still young. We were free of worry. Always laughing and hugging. I never thought we'd ever have to separate. I lashed my anger out on my mom, I blamed her for their separation. I never knew why'd they split up, but I assumed it was all her fault. There were endless days where I never spoke to her or even made eye contact with her. Every time she brought up the divorce I constantly dodged the subject. I'd say that I was okay with it all but deep down it hurt like hell. My life was a living hell because of her. Of course, I didn't feel this way until I grew a bit older. I thought I understood what was really going on, but I guess not. That's another story for later. I needed to focus my attention on how I was going to find Lisa and Lena. I should start by asking people around; I mean last time I checked they were famous off of this app called Musical.ly? But, that seemed like ages ago, they probably look completely different now. Still the same, but different. Someone bumped into me and I fell over onto the hard tile floor. She didn't even attempt to help me up or apologize. After all, it was her fault!
Girl: Hey, watch where you're going!
How dare she have the audacity to say that to me! She was staring deeply into my soul with this twinkle in her eyes that said cold-hearted. I couldn't help but notice how familiar she was. She reminded me of someone; it killed me not knowing who. I just rolled my eyes at her and stood back up. She carried along strolling in the airport. I watched her walk away and she ran up to some man, a few years older than her, I'd assume. The man dropped his bags once her saw her. The young girl jumped onto him, wrapping her legs around his waist and kissed him. What a repulsive sight! I briskly looked away. All I could think about now was how much I wanted to puke. My insides were turning to mush. I perceived a hint of jealousy inside of me. But, why? Frustrated with this matter, I decided to ignore what occurred around me and rushed to grab my suitcases. I hailed the nearest taxi and started out for the car. Trailing along behind me were the couple who were lip-locking earlier. I reached out for the handle and I was stunned to feel the soft touch of someone's hand underneath mine. There was a static so I jerked my hand back. There she was again; the same girl who bumped into me! My head was about to explode! I couldn't handle it anymore and unleashed the beast out on her.
How will she react back?
