Back To Y/N's POV:
That smile must be a good sign. The plan seems to be working out. I need more time to make adjustments. To the office! I brainstorm and collect my ideas. Maybe I should do this. No, maybe I should do that! I finally got it! I know exactly what to do with them. This'll definitely sting. I'm sorry for this, Lisa and Lena.
<The Next Day>
I wake up before dawn, ready to pursue my plans. I go for a quick jog around the city. The sky was a bit gloomy and cloudy, but still not a single drop of rain. I wrap up my run and veer off onto the corner of my street. In a hurry, I go inside to take a shower. As soon as I finish up, I contact Lisa. It rang and it rang. Still no answer. On the third ring, she picked up. Her straining voice crackling through the phone.
Lisa: Hello?
Y/N: Get up, today's your first day on the job.
There was a pause in between the call. I'm assuming she was getting up or was checking the time on the clock.
Lisa: It's 5:32 in the morning, Y/N. Are you serious? It's too early.
Y/N: It's never to early to start working. Now get up. It would be a shame to lose my newest model before she even got to work.
Her voice lightened up a bit.
Lisa: Okay, okay I'm up.
Y/N: Good, make sure you're here by six.
Lisa: Okay, b–
I ended the call before she could finish her sentence. Okay, I need to pick out my outfit for the day. I want to impress her. I want to wear something that shows how sophisticated I am, something that'll make her regret losing me and not choosing me. Aha! This is just perfect. 5:43 the clock read. I went into my car and drove to the agency. At 6:02 I reached my office. Surprisingly, Lisa wasn't there yet. I unlocked my office door and went to my place by the window. I saw a black car come to view at the front of the building. A young man came out of the car and went to the passenger's side. He opened the door and out came a blonde haired girl. I assume it was Lisa. She was about leave, but Spencer forcefully pulled her back and pecked her on the lips. She tried to pull back and when she did, she had a disgusted expression. He then let go of her arm and he went back into the car. Lisa then disappeared behind the forest of trees. I rushed to sit down on my office chair. I fixed my outfit and hair so I looked presentable. Not long after, there was a knock at the door.
Y/N: You may enter.
The door pushed open and Lisa came inside. Her hair was tied up into a messy bun, but she made it seem so perfect, the rest of her hair fell into its place. I wasn't going to let her beauty get in the way of my agenda for the day.
Y/N: You're late.
I checked the time on my desktop.
Y/N: It's 6:09. I said for you to be here by 6:00.
Lisa: I had a slight argument with–
Y/N: Excuses, excuses. I don't want to hear it. Just make up for it by doing a good job today, actually not even good, but a great job today. Are we clear?
Lisa: Crystal clear, Y/N.
I give her a blank stare and waited for a response.
Lisa: Did I say something wrong?
Y/N: Never call me by my first name. When we're at work call me Ms., Ma'am, or Ms. [last name]. Got it?
Lisa: Yes, Ms.
Y/N: Don't get on my bad side now. Oh, wait I think you already are. Now you need to triple your efforts today to prove me you're worthy of being apart of the team. Don't think I'm going to take it easy on you just because you're my childhood best friend. I'm going to treat you like everyone else around here. Go fetch me a coffee! Pronto!
Lisa: Yes, Ms. [last name]. I'm right on it.
This is gonna be even more exciting than I thought. I get to watch Lisa suffer, task after task. I know this'll be a great day for me.
Will you keep your act up?
