(I suggest listening to the song above! It really gives the feels of what you will be experiencing)
After pacing back and forth outside my dad's room, I built enough courage to knock on his door. My heart was racing. No answer. I knocked again, still no answer. At the third knock, the doorknob slowly turned, wide open. My dad was looking down at me, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
Y/D: Yes, princess?
He spoke in a drowsy voice.
Y/N: I need answers dad and I believe you have them.
He looked uncomfortable when I told him. He started to fidget with his fingers and finally backed away from the door and motioned for me to come inside. I stepped in and quickly scanned the room. What a wreck! Beer cans, wrappers, and trash everywhere, so filthy, my father! His bed was unmade. He plopped onto the armchair and gestured for me to take the other armchair that was across from him.
Y/D: What answers are you looking for?
Y/N: Lena, she umm... she was here. She didn't believe me when I told her it was me. She said that Mom told her I was dead, I burned at the school's fire. Why? Why, would mom do that? Is this true? Did she really lie about my death after all these years?!? How could she do this to me? After all that pain she put me through! Separating me from you and the twins! Is this true, dad?!? Tell me! Is this true?!?
He pauses for a long time.
Y/D: Honey, this isn't for me to tell.
Y/N: So, this is true! She did keep me a secret after all these years!
Y/D: I never said anything like that. You have to ask your mother.
Y/N: Why, can't you tell me? Does this have anything to do with the divorce? Dad, just tell me the truth. I can handle it.
Y/D: Don't force it. I'm sorry, I can't help you. I won't be able to answer your questions. The only person who can do so, is your mother.
He motions his hands toward the door.
Y/D: Now, please leave. I have important things to take care of.
Y/N: Gladly! I can't believe you! I shouldn't have came back to Germany! You're worthless! You're a bunch of lies! I hate you, I hate you!
He gets off the armchair and I instantly feel a burning, tingling feeling on my cheek. He slapped me across my face. On the verge of tears, I rush out of the room, and down the stairs. I heard him calling after me.
Y/D: Y/N, I'm sorry! Come...!
I slammed the door behind me before he could finish his sentence. The cool night breeze brushing against my flustered cheeks. I ran and I ran and I ran. I dropped down to my knees. I just let my tears run and run. My hands cupping my face, hiding my face from shame. People were strolling down the streets, looking at me as if I were some animal in a petting zoo. It was hard for me to catch my breath. I laid back on the hard ground and cried for what seemed like hours. My father never hurt me like that. Why, do I even exist, if in the end I'm always in pain? I regret living. I regret coming back here. I want to give up and I think that's the best thing for me to do, give up. No one would care. No one truly understood or loved me like Lisa and Lena did, not even my parents. If they did love me why'd they keep my existence a secret from Lisa and Lena? Are they ashamed to have me as a daughter? Have I done something wrong to deserve this? It needs to end and I will end it. Right here, right now. I was at an underground subway. Not a single person in a mile. I looked at the timer. 20 seconds to go before the next sub arrives. I sat down at the edge where it led to the tracks. I jumped down, tumbling over onto my back and stared at the ceiling of the station. I whispered under the hitch of my breath and closed my eyes fearlessly.
Y/N: Goodbye evil, sadistic world.
