As I lay there on the tracks waiting for the sub to arrive, I heard someone calling my name. It's just the craziness of my brain kicking in. No one is calling me, no one. The "voice" coming closer and closer to me. I sat up from the tracks and saw someone standing by the edge. She looked exactly like Lena, except Lena wore a baseball jersey and black ripped jeans. I couldn't recall who the person was. Then, it clicked in my head. This can't be! How is it possible that the girl from the airport and Lisa, were the same person? It's really her! She lowered her body down and extended her hand towards me. I stared at it.
Lisa: Y/N, please don't do this! Grab my hand! I can help you through whatever you're going through right now, just don't do this!
Y/N: Why, should I?
Lisa: People care about you!
I glanced at her hand and took it. Just when the sub came, I climbed on top of the platform.  I laid on the cemented floor next to Lisa, out of breath. My heart was racing. I would've died if Lisa hadn't been there to stop me. I owe her my life for saving me. We both sat up at the same time and glanced over at each other. I stood up and grabbed her hand, pulling her up onto her feet. She embraced me like no one has ever done before. It was almost magical. Never have I ever felt so loved and cared for in my life. I slowly wrapped her in my arms. Tears trickling down her face onto my shirt.
Lisa: I can't lose you again.
Surprised, I pulled back slightly and looked into her eyes with hope. She remembers me?
Y/N: You... you remember me?
Lisa: I thought it was you the moment you introduced yourself to me in the taxi. This is crazy, almost impossible. But, how? We all thought you were dead.
I scoff, rolling my eyes at her words.
Y/N: My mom she lied to everyone. How could she lie about my death after all these years? Was she ashamed to have me as her daughter?
Lisa: Don't think like that.
She reaches out to touch my face, but I turn away. She withdraws her hand.
Y/N: Lena, she doesn't believe that I'm me and I'm alive. Doesn't she trust me? I'm her best friend. How could she?
Lisa: Lena, she got hurt the most. She had a hard time believing that you were gone, I did too. After your death, things started spiraling out of control. Lena, she did things, things she shouldn't have done, things she'll resent for the rest of her life. Because of these things, she now has a hard time trusting people.
Anxious to find out these "things," I asked Lisa.
Y/N: What things...? Did someone hurt her!?!
I unexpectedly rose my voice at Lisa. She looked around if anyone else was in sight. Many people walked by us and sat down, waiting for the next sub to arrive.
Lisa: Lower your voice! This isn't the right place to be talking about this. Give me your phone.
I unlocked my phone and handed it over to her.
Speedily, she put her phone number into my contacts and handed me back my phone. I was about to ask for her phone, but she stopped me before I could even ask.
Lisa: Don't worry, I already have yours. Meet me at the cafe down the corner of this street at 9:30 P.M. I'll see you later.
I didn't get to say goodbye. She slipped away into a large crowd of people who were eagerly waiting to hop onto the next sub. . . . .
What do you think happened to Lena?
