Maddie's POV
"May gusto sayo yun." I stated with a straight face.
"No, he doesn't. He's is just being friendly." Therese answered.
"Yes, he does. I can see it."
We're sitting on the sidewalk in front of our house, sweats trickling down our face and body. We just finished our pre-party workout. I learned that, that thing exists because of Therese, Marge and Gizelle. Instead of a beauty rest, like any normal girl would do before going to party, they workout. Crazy? Yeah, I know. Jirah, Bea and I can't do anything but follow them.
"No, he doesn't." she said with an eye roll. They love to do that, don't they?
"That Intal guy is making pa-cute to you!" I said, stress evident in my tone. Why can't she just agree with me?
"Yes, Tey, he likes you. He's so obvious kaya." I'm glad that Bea sees it too, and it looks like the others are agreeing with me.
"No, you are just being overprotective. Lahat yata ng guy na lumalapit saakin feeling niyo may gusto saakin. Especially you." she said, and pointed her finger at me.
"What do you expect? We'll watch those guys play with your feelings?" I asked, looking at them one by one before settling my gaze at Therese.
"Yeah! Kung kami nga hindi kayo pinapaiyak, tapos they'll make you cry?!" Jirah asked, her voice full of emotions that I actually want to laugh.
"Bakit kapag kami ang higpit niyo? We don't meddle with your business kaya when it comes to girls." Marge butted in.
"Anong hindi? You girls turn into total bitches when you don't like the girls we date!" Bea contradicted Marge's statement.
"Anong we? You lang, I've never liked any other girl kaya! And Therese is the only girl Maddie ever dated." Jirah said.
She hit the back of Jirah's head and scowled at her. I laughed at what she said, and I received a pinch from Therese.
"Basta, Tey. Stay away from that guy, I don't like him for you."
"What if I won't stay away from him?"
"Teka nga, do you like him ba?" my eyebrows met in the middle and she used her fingers to put them apart. A gesture that made me think of Pauline, she always does that when she sees me frown.
"No. I just like to annoy you." she pinched my cheeks and cooed at me like a baby.
"Stop that!" I said pushing her away.
"Okay. Ganyan ah? Wag kang lalapit saakin." she stood up and sat next to Marge.
"Hala!" Bea said.
"Tse!" I followed Therese and hugged her tight, she's pushing me away but I didn't move.
We stopped when a delivery guy approached us. We stood up and fixed ourselves to look presentable.
"Delivery for Madeleine Yrenea Madayag." he said, I can heard my friends muffled laughter as the guy says my whole name. Wow, I love this.
"That's me." I answered, trying to be polite and controlling myself to not to choke the hell out of my best friends.
"Please sign this ma'am."
I took the pen and paper from him and signed it. He got something from the delivery truck and handed it to me.
He thanked me and left. I scanned the package.
"Wow! Fresh from the UK! Kaya siguro the guy said your whole name" I was startled by the voice. A laughing Jirah appeared beside me.
I saw my friends standing behind me as I turned around. They all have a teasing smile.
