Maddie's POV
Flashback
"Madds! Did we go all the way from the Philippines to hide from them?" Bea hissed and slightly pushed me from where we are hiding.
"I told you to show up to them. Leave me here." I snapped back and swatted her hands away.
"Why are you hiding ba? You dragged me here tapos ikaw 'tong ayaw magpakita."
"Basta lang. Ang dami mong reklamo, puntahan mo nalang kasi sila."
She didn't say anything anymore, she muttered under her breath and left me after giving me a glare, I made a face at her and she balled her fist and showed it to me, I mimicked her.
"Don't tell them you're with me." I said before she finally entered the cafe.
"Whatever, weirdo."
I watch my best friend enter the coffee shop, through the glass wall I can see the surprise in the faces of the two girls who're waiting for their orders. She was then greeted by a hug from the both of them, she flashed her infamous smile after kissing them as a form of greeting.
Bea and I are here in Los Angeles, California. In the City of Calabasas to be exact. Yes, we're in the same place where Pauline and ate Denise are. But just like what Bea said, for the past two days we've been here I'm hiding from them making Beatriz get annoyed by me.
Vacation is almost over that's why I convinced Bea to come with me here in LA.
For some reason something is telling me that I should go here because if not, I might lose my sanity.
But the moment I got here, all I wanna do is watch her from afar. With this simple thing, I feel contented.
After how many months of feeling like there is something missing from me, finally, I feel complete.
End of flashback
And being here with her today makes me feel even more complete.
She's seating across from me as I watch her eat, while I sip on my Red Velvet Love milkshake.
"Stop staring, go eat your burger." She scolded me and I just smiled at her.
After both our respective classes we both decided to go to Marikina and eat in Uncle Sam's Diner, our favorite burger resto.
She ordered American Dream and I got their Buffalo Sauce.
"You look creepy, wipe off that smile." She wiped the sauce on the side of her mouth and threw the tissue playfuly at me.
"Why? Do you get kilig when you see me smile?" I winked at her and she rolled her eyes.
"Wow ha! Where did you get all that confidence?" She scoffed.
"Pft! Pwede naman sakyan mo nalang ako." I pouted.
"Ayoko nga. Tapos ang yabang mo."
"Hindi kaya ako mayabang."
"Kung hindi ka mayabang, anong tawag sayo?"
"Honest." I smiled.
"Whatever. Sige na, finish that up." She's trying to hide her smile but failed.
And that was the cutest thing I've seen today.
"See? You even agree with me."
"Sige na. After that we'll go home."
