Maddie's POV
It's been awhile since I've been here. I never thought I'll do this again. Something happened before that made me stop doing one of my favorite things to do.
Here I am sitting in front of the grand piano taking in the feeling of my fingertips touching on its keys.
Slowly, my fingers started moving playing the notes.
And I started singing.
" It's her hair and her eyes today
That just simply take me away
And the feeling that I'm falling further in love
Makes me shiver but in a good way
All the times I have sat and stared
As she thoughtfully thumbs through her hair
And she purses her lips, bats her eyes and she plays,
With me sitting there slack-jawed and nothing to say"
This song perfectly describes what I feel. Pauline is too good for me to deserve her, I can't even tell my own best friends that she's the girl that I like. I'm still torn between wanting to be with her or forget my feelings and let her go.

Yeah, Maddie Madayag is out of her league. Ironic, right?
" It's a masterful melody when she calls out my name to me
As the world spins around her she laughs,
Rolls her eyes and I feel like I'm falling
But it's no surprise"
It's her personality I love the most. How jolly she can be and how her smile and laugh can change my mood. I want to be the reason behind them but sadly, it's not me.

Why? Why does the world doesn't conspire to make the time right for us? Why can't we be together?

Pauline leaves me speechless most of the times. She makes it so hard for me to form a proper sentence. Yet, it's always her I want to talk to.

All of these are unfamiliar to me. I'm still most of the times lost about how to act around her and how to control my feelings. There are times that I don't even understand how I feel but I never wanted to stop. Even after hearing she likes someone else already. It's scary but it amazes me at the same time.
"Is this why you're sulking?" A familiar voice made me stop playing the piano.
It's a fine Saturday afternoon and I'm not surprise to see them here.
"What?" I asked innocently, facing them to see their unamused looks.
"The girl you like is out of your league?" She crossed her arms and stared at me.
