Maddie's POV
I stirred when I heard a flash. Using my hand to cover my face and let out a groan. There's about three different voices. Their chuckles woke my senses up.
Ate Ye, ate Ara and ate Kim are huddled as they are busy taking pictures of a sleeping Deanna, who has a little bit of drool on the side of her mouth that is wide open.
My ate's turn towards me and Pauline, who's still sound asleep on top of me. Their eyes almost popped out of their sockets when they saw me staring blankly at them.
Ate Ella, ate Bang and ate Bea burst through the door.
Aha! They are all in this scheme together.
They froze and smiled a little bit too sweetly at me. They know the got busted.
"Ah, are you still sleepy? Don't worry, we'll save food for you." Ate Ye said while scratching her nape.
They ran out before I can answer them. I shook my head in amusement. Them and their crazy antics, typical ate's.
I was preoccupied with what I saw, that Pauline's stare went unnoticed if it weren't for the sudden familiar feeling.
Her eyes are barely open as she flashed me a sleepy smile. I remove the loose strands of hair from her face.
"Wash up, they are already calling us for lunch." I said softly.
"Mhm." She rested her head on my chest.
She end up sleeping on top of me, her best friends was sprawled out of bed earlier that we decided to share the sofa, I don't know how we end up like this though. But it's cute and comfortable.
I placed my hand on the back of her head massaging it lightly.
"Good morning, lovebirds!" Deanna's arms are stretched as she beamed at us.
"Wipe the drool off your face." Pauline gave her best friend a disgusted look, the latter ran towards the bathroom with a sheepish smile.
"I wanna throw her to the pool. She's so annoying." I said.
We sat up, waiting for Deanna to get out to take our turn.
"You get annoyed by her but you guys still love having her around." Said Pauline who's shaking her head at me.
"Eh syempre. Alaga namin yan."
After we finished changing clothes, the three of us joined everyone in the restaurant to have our lunch.
My mouth watered upon seeing the dishes. Locals and other cuisines.
Tey is waving her hand at me, I gave Pauline a look to ask her permission and she nodded.
My best friend is excitedly patting the seat next to her. I grinned when I saw the Lechon Kawali on Aligue Rice.
"I know you'll love this!" Therese's voice is full of enthusiasm that it affects me.
"Gosh, let's stop talking and eat!" I said, my eyes not leaving the food before me.
I ignored everyone's laughter and started digging my food. Because the six of us are seated all together, we can't help but bicker, especially Marge and I.
She likes getting food from our plates which I hate even after being with her my entire life. Although it irritates me whenever she does that, I still let her. I can't resist the face she makes most of the times.
I slapped Bea's hand when she tried to steal the skin of the grilled chicken from Tey's plate, which she didn't eat for me.
"Ang damot mo, Madds! Ikaw lang ba best friend ni Tey?" Bea asked with a child-like frown.
