Maddie's POV
"How to be yours po mga papi?" Ate Kim ruffled our hairs after we got off the stage. She's laughing along with Ate Kim and ate Yeye, while Ate Ly is smiling at us.
Ate Den, ate Ella, ate Mela, ate Bea and ate Bang hugged us, they're like our moms, which speaking of rushed to the stage after the performance and kissed the hell of out us like we are grade 1 students who got their first ever star.
"Didn't know you got those moves." Ate Den said making me pout.
"Stop embarrassing me, ate." I groaned, my lips turning into a pout.
"Haha! Anong pinakain niyo at napakanta niyo ulit 'to? And take note, you made her dance!" Ate Ye said putting her arm around me, messing my hair. Kawawa naman yung make-up artist ko hahaha.
"She can never say no to the Gaston sisters." Ate Kim butted in, haay, talk about bullies.
"Tinakot lang ako ni Tey! Tigilan niyo nga ako." I stomped my feet in annoyance. Gosh, when will they stop?
"Sus! Sabihin mo nagpapa-impress ka kay Ponggay!" it's Deanna, since when did she joined us?
"Stop na, baka mamaya topakin pa 'to eh." Therese said laughing lightly. But instead of helping me with what she did, they teased me even more.
"Ayun naman eh! Lakas mo talaga Madayag!" Ate Ella said, the others joining her in her laughter.
"But seriously, you girls rocked it out there! Have seen the guests daughters and sons? Kulang nalang akyatin kayo sa stage." Ate Bang shared and we laughed at that.
"Yeah, that was really funny." Marge
"Kaya lang hindi umandar charms ni Isabel dun sa gusto niya eh." Wait what?! Did I just really heard Ate Ly joined our banter? I blinked twice to make sure it's really her, and it is. She's giving Bea a smug smile.
"Don't mess with me, I saw something earlier!" Bea said wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.
Ate Den and ate Ly shared a look before looking away and blushed. Woah! HAHAHA
"Hello mga ate!" Sydney, Ann and Jules appeared before us. Their hands raised in the air as if they just did a magic.
"Babies!" We all shouted before engulfing them in a group hug.
"Are you girls too much for America to handle?" Ate Bea teased them and they all pouted.
"Tss! Makapagsalita, 1 week ka nga lang do'n pinauwi ka nila mom and dad eh!" Gizelle told her ate. She hid behind Ate Ly when she's about to get hit by her ate.
We talked some more, I did a little catch-up with the three. And I found out they will stay here for good, turns out they love Uncle Juan more than uncle Sam.
It's time for Pauline to blow her candles and give her thank you speech, her enormous cake is placed in front of the stage. The spotlight shining it's beauty. Tey left us and joined them in front.
We sing along with the background music, clapping our hands lightly to follow the beat. And I stared happily at her, and in this moment all I want is to be the reason behind her every smile. How can I possibly do that? Here I am wishing to be braver to at least let her know about my feelings, because letting her know could mean so much. How can I have the courage to admit it to anyone when I can't even tell her?
How can I confess when I can't say she's beautiful and let her know that I mean, that when I call her ugly it is actually the opposite because she's the most beautiful girl, no, beautiful person I've ever laid my eyes on.
