VINCE'S POV

I'm with Tif, here in a bar. We're sober but we won't talk normally. We're just drinking and drinking and drinking and drinking. We both have the problem, I think?

Anyway, she's leaving in two days, so yeah. I'm all alone with this problem for the next days. No Tif to hang on. Tsk.

*KRIIING*

I didn't bother to look for the caller, I just answered it.

[Vince, alam mo ba kung nasan ang kapatid ko?] oh, it was Lance.

Wait, he's looking for Maria? What the fuck?

"I don't know. Why?"

[Kagabi pa sya nawawala eh, umalis lang sya nung Thursday, sabi nya magmo-mall lang sila ni Gerald, tapos di na bumalik.]

"Baka nakela Gerald?"

[Eh hindi naman daw sila umalis. She just made Gerald as an excuse.]

"What the fuck? Where the hell is she?"

[I don't know either. Anyway, just call me if you knew.]

"Me either."

Then we hung up.

Where the hell is that girl?!

"Tif, I'll go ahead. Don't get too drunk ok?" I tap her shoulders.

She looked at me, she's still sober, I know!

"Don't worry, Vince. Rica's on her way." and she gave her sweetest smile

I give her a peck on her forehead before I leave. I need to find Maria! That brat! She's gone!!!

It's so late. It's almost 1am. I call Lance every 30 minutes for updates but there's still no good news. Tita Mary is also on her way back here.

Maria is lost for almost 24 hours. Please tell me it's not because of what happened! Because if it is, I would definitely blame myself.

I dialed Jin's number.

So then I went to Jin's condo, in Woodridge.

Kinakalampag ko na yung pinto nya. Bahala na kung mabulabog yung mga tao dito! I need to find Maria as soon as possible!

Finally! It opened. And her maid welcomed me. I think I woke her up?

"Where's Jin?!" I shouted.

I think I freaked her out. I really woke her mind up when I screamed at her.

"SIR! Wala po si Sir Jin. Pinabalik pong Japan ni Miss Yanny!" is she rapping or something?

Wait up?! Jin went to Japan?! What if he took Maria with him?!

"Since when?!"

"Thursday afternoon!" the maid.

The fck. Thursday afternoon too? The fcking hell.

"Can I get his number in Japan?"

After going to Jin's condo, I just stayed at the Piazza, trying to contact Maria. But there was never an answer. The hell! Are they together?

What's up on the two of them?

Fckshit. What if Maria already gave up on me? And gave herself to Jin?

Next call, I dialed Jin's number in Japan.

Finally! He answered.

[Good eve-- no, very early in the morning. Akimoto Residence, who's this?] a girl from the other line answered.

"Good morning miss. Is this Jin's place?" I answered.

[Jin? Akimoto Jin? Ah, yes.]

"May I speak with him?"

[Sorry, but my son's sleeping. Is it important or can you just call him later?]

"I guess I'll just call him later. Thank you miss."

Then we hung up.

My god! This is killing me. Not knowing where Maria is.

"Sir, sir. Gising po. Bawal pong matulog dito." someone's tapping my shoulders.

Napadilat ako.

Fck this. Ang sakit sa mata. Sapul sa araw ang view. Buti nahawi nang may tumapat na mukha sakin. Bigla na lang akong napatayo.

Isang lalaking mukhang PSG ang damit yung nanggising sakin.

"Sir, bawal matulog dito sa Piazza." he said.

Umikot naman ang tingin ko. Nakatulog ako dito sa Piazza. Tch! Di na din kinaya ng energy ko kagabi?

Oo nga pala! Si Maria!

"Sige, pasensya na." tumango ako sa lalaki. Umalis na sya.

Madami dami na palang tao. May mga employees na kumakain sa restaus. May students na nakatambay sa paligid. Mga taga-Enderun pa.

*KRIIIIING*

Oh? Si Jin na ang tumatawag!

"Dude!"

[Dude, tumawag ka daw?]

"Jin, tinangay mo ba si Maria? Dinala mo ba sya sa Japan?"

[Pare, hindi ko kasama si Od. I did not brought her here in Japan. Why?]

So hindi nya kasama si Od?! Nasan na ba sya?!

"She's missing."

[Ah. Onga pala, nung umalis ako nung Thursday. Nagkasalubong kami. I asked her where is she off to but she just replied me with a smile. The heck that dumbass girl.]

"Huh?! She left?!"

[I guess she's going to Hong Kong or Australia? She left me without a word when they page for Hong Kong and Australia passengers.]

I hung up. Hong Kong? Australia? The fck Jin. Pinahirapan mo ko lalo mag isip!

*KRIIIING*

It was Jin again!

[Dude, nag away ba kayo? Kasi last time we talked, umiiyak sya eh. She didn't even bother to say the problem?]

"Just call me if she calls you."

San ako magsisimula? Should I fly to Hong Kong and find her? Or should I go to Austr-- The fuck! Bat ang tanga mo Vince?! Bat ngayon mo lang naisip? Ay boblaks!

In fact, when I started this story, inisip ko dapat mainis ang readers sa katangahan ni Od, but turned out the opposite. Hahaha. At least effective? WAHAHA.
