ODETTE'S POV

Hay! It's a new day! :)

Una kong chineck ang aking dearest phone.

May message pala si Kuya Harvey. I checked it.

From: Kuya Harvey

'Baby girl. Don't forget. May breakfast tayo with special guests in Kape Bristo. Wag kayong male-late ni Jin. See you!'

"Hmmm…" Jin came hugging me and sniffing my neck. Good thing he's just sniffing it! Unlike last night, he almost killed me. He made my neck a neck of a crispy chicken! He bit and sucked it.

Oh by the way! Dito ako natulog sa condo ni Jin. :) Last night we went to Kuya Harvey's bar and he got drunk. And when I brought him home, he never let go of me.

Sabi na eh! Hindi mahirap pakisamahan tong si Jin. May past naman kame eh! And we're good for this last 24 hours.

"Jin, what time is it?" I asked him as I unhanded my phone on the side table.

He just shrugged so I looked for it in his wrist watch.

It's 7:30!!! 8:00am yung breakfast with my family! Naku po! Yari ako kay Lolo neto. May special guests pa naman daw.

Agad akong bumangon. Shit! Di manlang ako nagpalit ng sleep wear last night? Pfff. Ambaho ko na!

"Jin, bangon na! May breakfast tayo with my family, remember?" hinila ko na sya patayo. Buti sumunod naman.

Naman eh! Super iba ng hubog ng katawan nila ni Vince. Aish! Vince nanaman ako!

"Bat ka walang top?!" sigaw ko. Nahihiya ako! Ang awkward.

"Arte mo ha! Nagka-sabay na nga tayong maligo eh!" pilit nya kong hinaharap.

"Duh! Galing tayo sa swimming nun!"

Hanggang sa bigla na lang nya ko niyakap. He really enveloped me with his strong arms. And I can feel his warmth.

"This is the happiest morning in my life, waking up and seeing you the first. Not as friends, but as lovers." he said while his embrace is getting tighter and tighter.

"Thank you, Jin. Thanks for being here. Just give me time to learn to love you, ok?" I said as I hardly embraced him.

"Hay… Alam ko namang you'll still end up loving Vince eh. Alam ko role ko dito, Odette, rebound. Pero don't worry, no offense. I understand. Pero kung magbago yun, good for you. But not for me." he said.

"Jin, I'm sorry. Tama ka sa mga sinabi mo. But, what do you mean not for you?"

"Basta! Ito ang tatandaan mo, alam ko gwapo ako, pero wag kang masyado mafo-fall sakin ha? Mahirap akong kalimutan. Paniguradong hindi naman tayo sa huli eh. Ha?" tsaka nya ginulo yung buhok ko at tumayo na sa kama.

Naguluhan naman ako sa sinabi nun. Ah basta! Ang papaniwalaan ko na lang ngayon ay, kami ni Jin, kami na. Sya ang boyfriend ko at mamahalin ko sya. Higit pa sa pagmamahal ko kay Vince. It's time to forget him. Yung future, tsaka na yun!

Kaya ako nasasaktan eh. Kasi iniisip ko lagi ang future. Lagi akong nagsasalita ng tapos. Gaya ng ginawa ko kay Marco at Vince. Ngayon, hahayaan kong patakbuhin ng fate ang buhay ko at dalhin ako sa future ko.

"Huy! Wala kang balak kumilos?" dumungaw sya sa CR. I guess naka-tapis na lang sya? Basa at may shampoo na din buhok nya eh.
