Both Greyson and Cody looked at me at the same time, both saying “What?!”.

“You heard me.” I looked at the wall.

“Rachel I don’t think you understand..” The doctor tried explaining, but I wouldn’t let him.

“I’m not going to kill my baby to save myself, thats sick.” I glared at him.

“So, Rachel, you’d like to keep it...But, Greyson, how do you feel about this..?” The doctor asked, “It is yours...isn’t it?” He quickly glanced at Cody.

    Cody started laughing, “Its Greyson’s.”

“Rach, there will be other babies not now of course but, we could have 30 if you wanted!” Greyson thought about what he just said, “You..don’t want 30 kids right?”

I just kinda gave him a ‘What the hell are you talking about’ look.

“Rachel.” Cody began, “You’re like my sister...I don’t want anything bad to happen to you..”

“Nothing you say will make me change my mind. Don’t you want this Greyson!?” I asked, putting him on the spot. He didn’t answer. I glared at them all.

“Theres a 5% chance he’ll make it. That IS your last name Greyson, isn’t it?” I raised an eyebrow.

“Yes but that doesn’t mean I’m some master of luck.” He quickly answered.

I have honestly never felt Greyson and I be so annoyed with each other.

“CODY SIMPSON YEAAAH...” Cody sang. I looked at him through the corner of my eye. He just shrugged, and I half smiled.

See, this is why I loved Cody. Even when things got bad, he still managed to stay positive.

“So..Rachel..your sure you want to do this?” The doctor asked once more.

“Yeah. Positive.” I nodded. Greyson closed his eyes and let out a breath.

“All right then...But I want you to check in with me, once a week, I don’t care if you come in, or call. I would prefer you coming in but...do what you gotta do.” He wrote things down on a slip of paper, handing it to me.

    “Thank You.”

“Lauren Just move!!” Greyson was annoyed. Lauren kept questioning them.

“Why aren’t you two talking? How did it go? Maybe we should go to the movies later, huh Greyson?”

Greyson rolled his eyes and pushed past her, going up to his room. Lauren shrugged and left the room, before glaring at me once more.

“AUNTIE ACHEEELLLLL.” I turned my head to see Tanner’s little 5 year old daughter running up to me.

“Hey there,” I smiled, picking her up.

    “Whats wrong with Geeson?”

I let out a quiet laugh. It was cute, she couldn’t pronounce R’s right.

“Oh, nothing hun, He’s just being grumpy.”
