Chapter 72

    “SHOWTIME!” Greyson clapped his hands backstage, I bit my bullet necklace and stepped out on stage - after, stealing a kiss from Greyson of course.

    “HOW YOU DOING TONIGHT MAINE?”  Everyone screamed. I smiled and put my hand on my hip, “C’mon now Mainers, that wasn’t very loud. Now, I said, HOW YOU DOING TONIGHT MAINE?” They screamed, twice as loud as before.

    “THERE WE GO!” I laughed and set the mic on its stand. “You Know, I’m from Maine. Which makes tonight extra special for me. I uh, I stopped back at home for a while today, and remembered...just how much of a Bieber freak I was...how many of you remember the Biebs?”

    People screamed and clapped, “Ah, very nice. Maybe you could help me sing this song then?”

    I pointed my finger, and the music started.

    “You know you love me, I know you care, Just shout whenever, and I’ll be there, you want my love, you want my heart, and we will never ever ever be apart. Are we an item? Boy quit playin. We’re just friends? What are you saying? Said theres another, look right in my eyes, my first love broke my heart for the first time and I was like-”

    I pulled the mic off the stand and ran to one side of the stage, “BABY, BABY, BABY, OHHH, LIKE, BABY, BABY, BABY, NOO, LIKE, BABY BABY BABY OH, I THOUGHT YOU’D ALWAYS BE MINE, MINE.”

    I held the mic out to the crowd, half of them who were actually my age were singing along, I ran to the other side of the stage and did the same thing.

    I got to the rap and smiled.

    “WHEN I WAS 13, I HAD MY FIRST LOVE, THERE WAS NOBODY THAT COMPARED TO MY BABY AND NOBODY CAME BETWEEN US NO ONE COULD EVER COME ABOVE, HE HAD ME GOING CRAZY, OH I WAS STARSTRUCK! HE WOKE ME UP DAILY, DON’T NEED NO STARBUCKS, HE MADE MY HEART POUND, SKIP A BEAT WHEN I SEE HIM ON THE STREET AND, AT SCHOOL ON THE PLAYGROUND. BUT I REALLY WANNA SEE HIM ON THE WEEKEND, HE KNOW HE GOT ME DAZIN’ CUZ HE WAS SO AMAZIN’ BUT NOW MY HEART IS BREAKING, BUT I JUST KEEP ON SAYIN’...”

    I saw Jamie and Danny in the front row singing along too, laughing. They used to make fun of me because I locked myself in the bathroom until I could rap that perfectly.

    When that song ended, I sat on my stool in the corner of the stage and pulled out my guitar.

    “Well, they don’t know this but, I’d like my two of my best friends - Danny and James to come up here for a minute.” I smiled, Jamie jumped on the stage, Daniel following close behind.

    “So, I haven’t seen these boys in...a long time.” I laughed, “It used to be me, Natalie, these two every day. If one of us was sad, we were all sad. Someone smiled...we all did.”

    I brought the stool I was sitting closer to the center of the stage, and started playing the guitar. Someone from the crew brought Danny and James each a chair to sit on.

    “Oh, Yeah, mmm,

    I wait on you forever, and a day hand and foot your world is my world, yeah.

    Ain’t no way you even gon’ get, any less than you should, cuz Jamie,

    You Smile, I smile. Woah, Cuz Whenever Daniel smiles, I smile.”

    I sang them the rest of the song, changes a few words like ‘Your lips my biggest weakness’ to ‘Your laughs my biggest weakness’ for Greyson’s sake.

    I sang Runaway Love and One Time next, just because they were my favorites. I was really surprised at how many people knew the words. Even the girls who were now only 13.

    After that, I made Greyson come out. People screamed of course, and since I was pretty much doing a Bieber night, Instead of doing Light Up The Dark in my part of the show, we did it in Greyson’s. I sang Never let you go to him. No music or piano, no guitar. Just me. I stood facing him, he smiled at me.

    “They say that hate has been sent, so let loose the talk of love. Before they outlaw the kiss, baby give me one last hug. Theres a dream that I’ve been chasing want so badly for it to be reality. And when you hold my hand then i understand, that its meant to be. Cuz’ baby when your with me..
