I stood backstage at the Ellen show. My heart was pounding. Greyson and I were going to tell everyone about Jeydon now. We were going to tell them about us getting married in the future.

“You’ll do fine, Rachel. Ellen is going to call you out, I’ll come on a few seconds later, and then Cody will bring out Jeydon after that.” Greyson smiled, rubbing my arm. “You can do this.”

I took a deep breath. “Ok.” I nodded.

We heard Ellen begin to talk then. Greyson gave me a quick kiss and a smile before going back to his dressing room.

“We’ve got someone special here today who you probably haven’t seen for quite some time. Rachel Price? Why don’t you come on out here.”

I took a deep breath and walked out, smiling at everyone before hugging Ellen. I sat down on the longer couch like chair (It was bigger so Greyson could join me).

“It’s good to see you!” Ellen smiled as everyone settled down.

“It’s good to see you too!” I smiled back.

“So, before we get serious how have you been?”

“Um, better than you’d think, actually.” I smiled bigger. We talked for a few minutes, just catching up before she pulled Greyson out.

This is it... I thought.

He came out and sat next to me. When people were done screaming, Ellen spoke.

“Well, well, well. I think you two should explain something to us.”

Greyson half smiled. I  had been hiding my hand by my side the whole time so no one would see my ring.

“...About?” Greyson asked, knowing what Ellen meant.

“About?! You lied! LIARS!” She yelled, smiling. Everyone laughed, including Greyson and I.

“Ok. So we never did break up. Like, at all.” Greyson started. “It was an act. Lauren agreed to fake date me again so people would forget Rachel for a bit and the constant hate she was getting would stop... When I tried to call about a month into our plan, her phone had been disconnected. We basically lost all contact after that. Cody and I... we don’t pick up our phones if we don’t know the number. I should of though, because chances are it was Rachel-”

“It was.” I added quietly.

He frowned for a second, “Anyway, I called her brother a few weeks before her birthday. Why I didn’t think of that before I don’t know..

I was in Maine for her birthday in January. Which, leads us to the first thing you guys should know.” Greyson stopped. I felt all the blood drain from my head. Here we go.

“Greyson asked me to marry him that day.” I spoke up, getting to the point. There was a series of gasps. “...and I’ve said yes.” Everyone clapped, I smiled big then.

“Well, let’s see the ring!” Ellen smiled. I held out my hand, showing her.

“It’s beautiful!”

“I got it over a year ago.” Greyson smiled proudly. I looked at him for a minute.

“...Seriously?”

He nodded. I didn’t know what to say. He grabbed my hand and held it tight.

“Let’s talk about the last show you did with Greyson,” Ellen began.

“Ok,” I smiled remembering the memory clearly.

“Greyson, how on earth did you pull that off?” She asked.
