Megan's POV
I knew that I had advanced since the last time I had fought James, I just didn't expect him to have advanced too.

We were throwing punches like we were playing tennis. We couldn't seem to get each other in the right places to finish each other off.

I finally dodged one of James' punches, allowing me to take him to the floor. I was on top of him, throwing punches. We were both wearing gloves. If we weren't, we would have seriously hurt each other.
I started to see James close his eyes. That's when I stopped. I stood up and leant back against the ring. I was exhausted.

That was the first time I have ever beat James. When James had finally got his eyesight back, he told me to fight Grayson.

I wasn't going to hurt him. I was just going to protect myself, and make him protect himself.

"Grayson, do your best. If you don't, we aren't gonna benefit from this. It would be worthless. Hit me your hardest, and protect yourself at all costs, okay?" I said to him. He nodded hesitantly.

Grayson wouldn't make the first move, so I had to.
I felt terrible as I punched him. He didn't even try to move out of the way. I hit him again. And again. And again.

"Okay, Grayson you are worse than I thought. How did you take those boys the other day?" I asked him.

"I guess i'm just not angry." He said.
"Well, what makes you angry?" I asked, trying to find something to trigger him.
"Seeing you hurt" He replied.

"Well, I guess we can't fight each other then. I'll just teach you some stuff yeah?" I said. He just nodded.

I ended up showing Grayson how to stop someone from hurting him if they are on top of him. He is a quick learner.

When I was done with that, James came back. He had a knife in his hand.

"Time for the good stuff" He said. I just smirked. I could see the horror on Grayson's face.

"Don't worry pretty boy, this isn't for you" I said as I pushed him out of the ring. He just sighed in relief.

"You ready?" James asked me and threw me a knife.
"Absolutely" I said as I smirked again.

We had protective guards around our wrists to make sure we didn't accidentally kill each other.

It was simple really. The first one to have a knife under their throat for more than 5 seconds loses.

Me and James did that about 20 times. I had won 5 and James won the rest. James is a pro with a knife, it's kinda his 'thing', so I wasn't too worried.

I had small cuts on my arms and legs. Little grazes, nothing major.

"I'll only give you 60 today, you've worked hard" James said.

"You coming Grayson?" I asked.
"What?" He said confused.
"I said are you coming. I gotta run for an hour. Its either come with me, or be stuck in here with the knife throwing man that's sat in the corner."  Just as I said that, James threw a knife at a board, hitting the target perfectly.

Grayson decided on coming with me.
We had only been running for 10 minutes when Grayson had to stop.

"Grayson, there's a short cut through there. Run at your own pace, your slowing me down. By the time I'm done, you'll be back at the building. We will probably get there at the same time." I said.

"How are we gonna get there at the same time if I'm going through a shortcut?" He asked me.

"Because I'm gonna sprint it, Grayson." I said.
"Well, good luck with sprinting for 50 minutes. Stay safe yeah?" He said.
I just nodded and sprinted off and Grayson ran in the opposite direction.

I had successfully sprinted for 50 minutes and made it back to the building before Grayson.

"What the fuck?" Grayson said as he came running from around the corner.
I was shaking and sat on the floor. I hadn't eaten or had anything to drink today. It was now about 3pm. That combined with the fights and the intense run I just had, left me in a bad state.

"James!" Grayson yelled as he ran up to me.
"What happened Grayson!" James asked. I was too weak to talk.

"I don't know, I went a different way to her" Grayson said.
"You went through the shortcut?" James asked.
"Yeah" Grayson answered.

"That means Megan has sprinted the whole rest of the way back here." James said as he lifted me off the floor and took me inside.

"Has she had anything to eat today Grayson?" James asked.
"No. She said there was no point, she would just throw it up whilst she was training, so she didn't eat at all. I didn't see her drink anything either" Grayson said.

"Grayson, go get the strongest energy drink you can find and get something she can eat that will boost her sugar levels. This isn't the fist time she's done this. Go!" James yelled as he handed Grayson money.

I was still just lead there. I could hardly keep my eyes open. I felt so drained and exhausted. My stomach hurt and my head was banging. My eyesight was getting blurrier and blurrier as the seconds went on.

Before I knew it, Grayson was back. He helped me drink the drink.
As soon as I was done with the drink I could sit up again. My eyesight was fully back and my eyes were open.

Grayson handed me the various items of food. I then ate a candy bar to try and get my sugar levels to go up.

After about an hour of just sitting on the floor, my head throbbing and my stomach cramping in pain, I started to feel normal again.

The whole time, Grayson was sat behind me and I was leant on him, using him as a pillow.

I stood up and quickly gained my balance.
"James, got a lighter?" I asked him. He just threw me the lighter. I took the cigarettes I stole from him out of the bag I had brought with me and lit one.

James didn't mind me smoking inside, he wouldn't have been able to stop me anyway.

I smoked the cigarette as I walked circles around the ring.
I started thinking.
I tried to think about happy things, but every time I tried, it always went back to Him.
