Grayson's POV

I took Joseph away from Megan. I took him home to Ethan, then drove back to the school, only to find Megan in the exact same position on the floor. She was sobbing uncontrollably as she hid her face in her hands.

I ran to her as I wrapped my arms around her body, pulling her to her feet.

"No!" She yelled.
"This is all you're fault! He hates me because of you! He's scared of me! You did this! You did this Grayson!" She yelled as she hit my chest, sobbing uncontrollably.

She kept hitting my chest as her cries became louder. Each hit became weaker and weaker, until her arms just stopped moving all together. Her head rested against my chest as I held her tightly whilst she cried.

"I'm so sorry, Megan" I said, guilt plastered all over me. She didn't say anything. She was silent.

The man that had the gun pointed at Joseph was on the floor, a couple meters from where we were stood. My dealer must have left when his friend was shot.

"I left so you could be safe." She cried out against my chest.
"And you went and did something that put you all in danger again?!" She said angrily as she took a step backwards away from me.

"You're so selfish!" She yelled as she pointed her finger at me.
"I left to keep you safe!" She yelled as she started to cry again.

"Megan I'm sorry-"
"No Grayson! If you didn't find me yesterday, Joseph could have been dead!" She cut me off and pushed me.

I then realised what I had done. From the day I started doing these 'jobs' I had been putting Joseph and Ethan at risk. I never fully understood why Megan had left, but now I do.

She didn't want us to have to be apart of this anymore, and the second it could have all been over, I went and did something stupid that brought back to us.

Megan fell to her knees again as she completely broke down. I couldn't just sit and watch her crying, so I picked her up and carried her to my car.

I drove us home and parked on my driveway, sitting in the car with Megan. She had stopped crying, she was now just sat there, silent.

"I'm gonna go speak with Ethan real quick okay? I'll be back in a minute and we'll go get something to eat" I said, she just nodded.

I got out of the car and walked into my house, to be met with an angry looking Ethan.

"Where is she!" He yelled the second I had stepped inside.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Where the fuck is Megan! She is not staying!" He yelled as he pushed past me, walking outside.
