Megan's POV

I put on a black bralette with a long black skirt and curled my hair. The only problem with my job is the fact that I have to look 'good' when I turn up to a wedding, or an important gathering.

For the first time in forever, I had a good feeling about today's wedding. I grabbed my camera and got into my car, making my way to the brides home.

When I reached my destination, I took pictures of everyone and everything. The bride was absolutely beautiful, I can only imagine what the groom looks like. I haven't been with anyone since Grayson, I can't bring myself to be with anyone else, It feels wrong. When I was with Grayson, his touch, it felt so right, like it was meant to be.

But I left.
I left to save him.
I left so everything would go away.
Everything that had something do to with death, gangs, murder, all of it.
I just pray that it worked.
I pray that Grayson, Ethan and Joseph are safe, and that they are happy, because that's all I ever wanted.

The wedding was absolutely breathtaking. Fairy lights were draped everywhere, as candles lit up the whole reception. Everything was going perfect, until the bride came running up to me, panicking as the band was going to be late.

"What do I do?! This is a disaster!" She yelled as she paced in a circle, clearly stressed.

I couldn't just stand there and watch this woman drive herself insane, so I did the only think I could think of.

"It's okay. Nothing is going to be a disaster. Um, where to is the band meant to be performing?" I asked as I looked around. She pointed to a little round stage that was lit up with more lights. A guitar was neatly placed next to a stool. Perfect.

"How would you feel if I made a guest appearance until the band get here?" I asked as I bit down on my bottom lip, instantly regretting it.

"Would you?! Oh my gosh! Thank you! Thank you so much!" The bride yelled as she hugged me.

She released me from her grip and squealed quietly, as I started slowly walking to the lit up stage.
Shit.
What did I get myself in to.
I placed my camera gently on the floor, before sitting on the stool and placing the guitar on my lap.

"Hello! My name is Megan, I'm going to sing for you tonight until the band arrives. I hope everyone is enjoying their evening, and I want to send my best wishes to the happy couple" I said after I had everyone's attention.

I sung Stone by Alessia Cara.

"So much on my mind
I think I think too much
Read between these lines
unspoken weight of words
But time comes to rest when you are by my side, it blurs

And I will follow where this takes me
And my tomorrows long to be unknown
When all is shaken, be my safety
In a world uncertain, say you'll be my stone

Change in every wind
The sands of time don't know our name
Oh, nothing's sure, but surely as we stand
I promise I will stay the same
And I've never seen forever
But I know we'll remain

And I will follow where this takes me
And my tomorrows long to be unknown
When all is shaken, be my safety
In a world uncertain, say you'll be my stone
Be my stone
In a world uncertain, say you'll be my stone

Oh, steady me, be my source of gravity
While my world's unraveling
Say you'll never change, ooh, oh

And I will follow where this takes me
And my tomorrows long to be unknown
When all is shaken, be my safety
In a world uncertain, say you'll be my stone
Be my stone
In a world uncertain, say you'll be my stone"

The lyrics really meant a lot to me, I feel as though they kind of relate to me and my decisions, now I just need to find my stone.

"Thank you" I said as everyone around me clapped and cheered. The band appeared out of nowhere as soon as I had finished the song, so I stood up and grabbed my camera, before disappearing into the distance, capturing the array of cheerful bodies that danced to the music.

One happy bride stood out as she danced with her husband, a bright smile plastered on her face, she looked nothing like the stressed woman who was panicking earlier, so I felt a little better about myself.

I actually can't believe I just did that, I have never sung in front of anyone like that.

I stood far back from the crowds as I continued to take pictures of the beautiful scene happening before my eyes, only hoping that one day, I could be apart of something similar.
