Grayson's POV
I was losing my mind.
I had been staring at the same 4 walls for 2 whole months now.
I decided that I needed to do something. Then I remembered.
The first night I met Megan, we spent the night in the woods. I was on my feet like lightning when I remembered that day.
My feet carried me all the way to the same tree we had sat under.
I looked under the rock, and there it was. Her blanket and pillow, neatly placed in a plastic bag.
I held the blanket in my hands and took in her scent. It felt as if she was there with me.
I fell to my knees as I sobbed. I could hardly breath. I knew I was having an anxiety attack.
I lead there, still. Megan's blanket held tightly in my hands. I cried and cried. I couldn't move from my spot on the floor. I was frozen.
My mind was stuck on her.
The way she hid her smile.
The way her eyes told a story.
The way her hair fell down her back.
The way her hands held me.
The way her body fit perfectly with mine.
The way her voice sounded so broken yet so harsh.
The way her face had shown no emotion.
The way she kept herself hidden.
The things she had been through.
The things that changed her.
The things that hurt her.
The things that tore her apart.
The things that effected her dramatically.
The things that she couldn't control.
The things she had to except.
The things she couldn't move on from.
The decisions she wasn't allowed to make.
The choices that she wasn't allowed to chose.
The things she was made to do.
The things she couldn't do.
The things that made her empty.
The things that made her numb.
The things that made her Cold.
I then thought about me.
What she has done to me.
What being without her has done to me.
How not hearing her voice has effected me.
How not feeling her touch has changed me.
How not seeing her face has hurt me.
How knowing she's not there is killing me.
How her leaving me has left me empty.
It's left me numb.
It's left me Cold.
