Everything I Didn't say (Lashton)

It's not allowed

Ashton paced the balcony. He hadn't slept well and found himself up before anyone else.
Ashton was currently debating on talking to Liam about he and Luke's relationship. Should Ashton tell Liam? 

"Urgh." Ashton growled running his hands through his hair roughly.

"Oh, I didn't realize you were out here." Luke said before stumbling to go back inside.

"Wait." Ashton grabbed Luke's arm pulling him back outside as he closed the door.

Ashton then realized Luke was in nothing but boxers.

"What do you want?" Luke huffed. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Ashton.

Ashton bit his bottom lip.

"H-have you talked to Liam at all?" Ashton asked nervously.

"No. I told you-"

"I know, just listen." Ashton snapped.

"Has he reached out to you, like called you or text you or cornered you?" Ashton asked his tone calmer than before.

"No. I assume he's waiting for the dust to settle. Plus Braxton told me he, cal and Mikey gave him an ear full. Braxton especially. You know how he is about dating between friends. I got the same lecture last night, I'm sure you know the one." Luke sighed.

Ashton dropped his head.

"I know it well."

"He's pretty serious about that." Luke commented.

"I'm sure you remember Louis and Harry." Ashton commented.

"How can I forget? Braxton was crazy in love with Haz. We all thought they'd get together." Luke nodded.

"Til Louis admitted his feelings for Harry." Ashton sighed.

"Harry dropped Braxton in a heartbeat. I almost killed him." Luke remembered.

"Me too. But instead Braxton made us all promise never to date each other." Ashton nodded.

"We all lost a best friend that day." Luke noted.

"What would you do if Liam told you he felt the same way?" Ashton asked looking at Luke.

Luke scrunched his nose before turning away.

"He doesn't." Luke answered simply.

"Do you love him?" Ashton asked a desperation in his tone.

"I-I don't know." Luke shrugged his brow furrowed.

"You kissed him right?" Ashton asked taking a step towards Luke.

"Y-yes." Luke nodded backing into the closed door.

"Did you like it?" Ashton asked another question still closing the gap between him and Luke.

"Y-yes. What is your point?" Luke asked.

"I want to know if you would date Liam if he asked you." Ashton answered.

The look of Luke confused and half naked pinned to the door made Ashton's head spin.

Before Ashton could think about what he was doing he pressed his lips to Luke's.

He pressed slowly at first but then as Luke kissed back Ashton pressed harder. Ashton placed his hands on Luke's waist gripping them tightly.
This caused Luke to part his lips ever so slightly. Ashton did the same causing their lips to mold together more.

Suddenly Luke was pushing Ashton back hard.

"What the Fuck, Ashton." Luke swore.

Ashton felt panic course through him. What had he done?

"Why did you do that?" Luke demanded.

"I just wanted to see if you really had feelings for Liam. You kissed me back so I'm thinking not." Ashton said crossing his arms.

"You kissed me to see if I really had feelings for Liam?" Luke scoffed.

"You don't, you're welcome." Ashton shrugged.

"Maybe I just liked the distraction." Luke huffed.

"Are you saying you liked the kiss?" Ashton smirked raising a brow.

"Ugh, why are you such an asshole?" Luke huffed before turning to go inside leaving Ashton snickering behind him.

Luke stormed into the hotel and towards his room.

"Hey, you okay?" Michael asked.

"No, Ashton is just being a jackass as usual." Luke snapped before slamming his bedroom door shut.

Luke sighed heavily. Ashton had kissed him and he'd liked it more than he wanted to admit. Why did Ashton do this to him? What had he done to deserve to be treated so terribly?

"Ash, can we talk a sec?" Liam asked stepping onto the balcony.

"Sure." Ashton nodded glancing at his best friend.

"I feel like I need to be honest with you. I have feelings for Luke. I know you hate him but-"

"It's not allowed." Ashton snapped interrupting.

"I know, but I thought that maybe if I talked to Brax-"

"Do you remember what happened with Harry? I'm not going to lose my best friend because of Luke. You and Luke can't ever date. It's bad enough you two were hooking up." Ashton growled.

"We weren't hooking up. And the only two that would get hurt are me and Luke and if we both agree then-"

"Damn it Liam, do you even know if Luke feels the same way?" Ashton barked. He didn't want him and Luke together.

"I don't know." Liam answered quietly.

"I sent him a message yesterday but he never responded." Liam looked hurt.

Ashton looked away unable to bear the guilt he felt due to Liam's face.

"I don't think it's a good idea." Ashton stated simply.

"I knew you wouldn't approve." Liam sighed.

"I just wanted you to know how I really felt, incase he and I ever did..." Liam trailed off sadly.

Ashton clenched his jaw, the guilt eating at him. He so badly wanted to tell Liam Luke never saw his message but the selfish side of him kept him silent as Liam walked away.
