Everything I Didn't say (Lashton)

I can't do this anymore

Luke, Ashton and Jace climbed into Ashton's vehicle.

"Well I think that went well." Jace smiled at Ashton.

"Yeah, they loved you." Ashton nodded forcing a smile.

"Thank you for inviting me tonight. I know it wasn't easy." Jace said taking Ashton's hand.

Ashton gripped it tightly tossing a glance at Luke in his rear view mirror.

"Thank you for coming."

"Are you kidding? I love your family. Your mom and Liz, they are quite something." Jace laughed.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Ashton sighed.

"I can't believe you answered it." Luke scoffed from the back seat.

"I didn't want to be rude. And I didn't want to lie and say we hadn't slept together." Jace shrugged.

Ashton felt uncomfortable with this conversation. And by the look on Luke's face he wasn't overly thrilled with it either.

Luke didn't respond causing the topic to drop.

The rest of the car ride was quiet. Ashton was worried about Luke. He seemed bothered by something.

Once the car was parked Luke got out hurriedly.

"Is he okay?" Jace asked turning to Ashton.

"I think he's got a lot of pressure from his mom about dating." Ashton lied  shrugging.

"Oh." Jace nodded.

Luke walked into the house and was greeted by Liam, Calum and Michael.

"Hey, how'd it go?" Liam asked.

"Wonderful." Luke answered less than enthused.

"Uh oh." Calum said glancing at the door where Ashton and Jace walked in holding hands.

"Hey guys." Ashton gave a small smile.

"Hey." The room chorused back.

"How'd meeting the parents go?" Michael asked cautiously.

"Great, they loved him and Camilla." Ashton answered giving Jace a smile.

"Good. So no problems then?" Calum pressed.

"I wouldn't consider it a problem necessarily. But Anne and Liz pretty thoroughly embarrassed us." Jace chuckled.

"Oh? How so?" Liam asked.

"They wanted to know who tops." Jace answered.

"Wow." Liam laughed.

"How'd you handle that?"

"They told them." Luke scoffed.

"Really?" Calum asked groaning slightly.

"So who is it then?" Liam asked.

"Liam." Luke snapped.

"What? He's my best friend." Liam shrugged.

"So?" Liam turned back to Ashton.

Luke left the room not wanting to hear anymore.

"We...share that." Ashton answered watching Luke leave.

"Aww, isn't that sweet." Liam grinned.

"Shut up." Ashton snapped with a smirk.

"Speaking of topping, where's Zayn?" Ashton asked.

"We ummm, sort of broke up." Liam answered quietly.

"What? Why?" Ashton asked suddenly in friend mode.
