Everything I Didn't say (Lashton)

With all that being said

Luke sat in the chair across from the couch Jace and Ashton occupied. He fought to ignore the fact that Jace was running his hand through Ashton's curls. Ashton looked so tired. He was laid back against Jace's chest his eyes heavy. Luke felt so jealous that his anger for Jace only got more prominent.

Ashton laid against Jace's chest and tried to imagine that it was Luke playing with his hair.

The movie finally came to an end and Luke couldn't have been more thrilled.

"You awake, Babe?" Jace asked looking down at Ashton.

Ashton pushed himself off of Jace.

"Yeah." Ashton nodded.

"You're so beautiful, you know that?" Jace smiled at Ashton pushing a curl out of his face.

Ashton felt guilt course through him.

Luke left the room then unable to stomach anymore.

"Let's take a walk." Ashton suggested grabbing Jace's hand and leading Jace out the front door.

"Is everything okay, Ash?" Jace asked frowning at Ashton.

Ashton let out a sigh dropping Jace's hand.

"No, I'm sorry, but I can't keep doing this." Ashton's tone was stressed.

"Doing what?" Jace asked.

"Jace, you're an amazing guy and the best boyfriend but-"

"You're breaking up with me." Jace cut him off.

"I don't want to, truly but it's not fair to either of us." Ashton bowed his head.

"This is about Luke isn't it?" Jace asked his tone full of hurt.

"Why do you think that?" Ashton asked worriedly.

"Yesterday, you were so protective of him when it came to Liam. Liam is your best friend. It struck me as odd." Jace answered.

"I do care about you, Jace, but, as long as I have feelings for Luke, I'll never be able to be the boyfriend you deserve." Ashton grabbed Jace's hand.

"I understand." Jace nodded as a single tear slipped down his cheek.

"No, please don't cry. I never wanted to hurt you." Ashton pulled Jace into a hug.

"I know." Jace nodded pulling away from Ashton gently.

"Thank you for being honest with me."

"Jace, I'm so sorry." Ashton felt awful. He never should have told Braxton he had feelings for Jace.

"It's okay, really. I've enjoyed the past few weeks, thank you. I hope everything works out with Luke." Jace spoke backing away from Jace.

"Jace, wait, please." Ashton wanted to make him feel better but he didn't know how.

"I need to go, Ash, I-I don't want to drag this out anymore." Jace shook his head sadly.

Ashton felt sick. No matter what he did someone got hurt.

Luke sat on his bed sadly. No matter what he just couldn't get used to the idea of Jace and Ashton together. It hurt more as time went on. He didn't know what to do about it.

"Luke." Ashton's voice spoke quietly from the doorway.

"Ash." Luke stood quickly.

Ashton walked over and grabbed Luke's face in his hands looking into his eyes before pulling him to his chest.
