Man! I got to go to a black box theater today, which was super duper killer. Sadly, I didn't get to see a performance in it, but I did watch a film with a bunch of other people.
Personally, I went because of my Sociology class and my CSS class that both require me to interact with the college community. Ew. BUT! I hadn't known that it was gonna take place in a black box, so it was super exciting.
Yeah, I'm a nerd. I get excited about special theaters. It made me so happy though, like, even though I didn't see a performance, and they didn't have a reason to use the space other than to have space, it was an awesome experience to see one in person.
Looking at other examples of a black box, I know this one wasn't the best or most common layout for one, but it was still sweet.
Yay.
