Chapter Fifteen

"Home sweet home" I smiled as we pulled up to my house from the airport.

"Oh Dez it's lovely" Kat smiled walking in the door.

"Well let me show you to your room." I laughed flipping on lights to my unpacked home "excuse the mess, I literally had just got here when it was time to go on tour"

"It's fine really." Kat grinned taking in her surroundings

I opened the door to her room following her in "We will have to share a bathroom while you're here" I apologized. "The furnishings are all brand new but I'll have to go get a bed set for you."

"No worries. Sorry for putting you at an inconvenience" Kat apologized.

"You didn't." I sighed "it's my fault."

"Dez honestly it's not. I won't be here long." She smiled.

"No stay as long as you need to." I assured her.

She could stay forever if it came to that.

After all her husband wouldn't be a dick to her if I hadn't begged and sworn her to secrecy.

Her phone began to ring and she looked at me then glanced down at her phone. "Oh it's Dani" she mumbled looking disappointed.

I was disappointed for her. I was hoping Matt would realize it was my fault not her and direct his rightful anger towards me. Apologize to Kat.

"Hey Dani" she answered and frowned. "Hold on hold on I'm going to put you on speaker."

"Hey girls so did you make it okay?" Dani asked pleasantly but even her voice sounded annoyed.

"Yeah we made it just now. What's up?" Kat asked.

"So those fucking idiots were down stairs and just having a gay old time." Dani fumed

"Fucking figures do they know we left?" Kat asked frowning.

"Oh they know alright. I fucking screamed at them. Don't be surprised if they start calling either of you." Dani laughed.

"Zack doesn't know my number." I mumbled.

"He will." Dani laughed

"Let that fucking dick call he's really done it this time Dani. I'm to my breaking point." Kat murmured looking dejected.

"Well you can stay at my place but I'd imagine he will look for you there." Dani offered.

"No thanks. I have a place." Kat smiled at me.

"For as long as you like." I grinned

I still felt guilty over all of it so my home is her home as long as she needs it.

"Okay" Dani called to us.

"Did they even seem upset we're gone?" Kat asked

"I know Zack isn't. He hates me now." I whispered trying to not cry once again.

"Oh he's such a fucking cry baby anyhow it's all about them" Dani hissed

"They never think of anyone else or their feelings. Obviously" Kat mumbled.

"That's for fucking sure" Dani mumbled.

"So what exactly happened?" Kat asked.

I'm glad she did I wanted to know myself.

"Well after last night I figured Matt was probably giving you shit so I went to check on you and you weren't there. Johnny said he saw you guys getting into a cab so I did a little research and yeah you were gone. So I went and found them, just laughing and having fun so I let them have it." Dani explained.
