I was surprised for sure when Dez's sister showed up. I mean I knew she had a sister but I honestly thought she didn't get along with her family.

I couldn't blame her. I mean what kind of family allows you to be thrown into a looney bin?

"You okay?" Brian asked me as I walked out onto the patio to have a cigarette.

"Yeah" I exhaled smoke "It just a little weird"

"Why?" Brian asked lighting himself a new smoke.

"Her sister showed up" I scowled

"I didn't even know Dez had a sister" Brian sort of laughed "Actually I thought she was like an orphan or something"

"Yeah I basically thought the same" I shrugged "But I guess they're around because Kat invited her sister Rainey"

"Is she hot?" Brian laughed

"No" I smiled "I definitely got the hot one"

"And knocked her up" Brian joked

"Yeah" I smiled

"You scared?" Brian muttered

"Of what?" I questioned "The sister?"

"Fuck no man" Brian laughed "The baby. Being a dad"

"Oh" I sighed "Yeah, a little"

"Things are sure changing for us huh?" Brian practically whispered

"Yeah" I agreed "But I'm more scared of being a fuck up of a dad."

"Dez wouldn't let you" Brian snickered

"You're probably right." I laughed "She'd kill me."

"More than likely." He smiled "I think Dani would make a great mom."

"You thinking of kids Haner?" I asked surprised. Brian had never been one to really mention kids. In fact we all thought he would probably never have kids. Then again I did too, but then I met Desiree and that all changed.

"Maybe" He smiled "Matt looks like he's having the time of his life. You look like you're walking around on cloud nine. Dani is an amazing woman and I love her. Its a natural progression. Besides dude short shit is having a kid. Who would've thought that would ever happen?"

I laughed "Yeah, but then again I never thought I would ever be having this discussion with you either."

"Especially at your girlfriend's baby shower." Brian pointed out. "If the fan girls could see our bad ass selves now huh."

"Yeah" I laughed

"So you ever plan on making an honest woman out of Dez?" Brian asked taking a sip from his scotch.

"One day" I smiled

"One day?" He questioned "Usually its wedding then kids. You're doing this shit ass backwards Baker"

"I know" I laughed "But when have ever done anything the normal way?"

"Good point" Brian nodded "But if you were ever going to marry anyone, it should be her."

"You like her now?" I laughed "The stuck up bitchy smart ass photographer? Haner actually likes her?"

"Oh can it" Brian laughed "I mean sure she was a bitch for saying those things but yeah she's an alright chick. Pretty tough if you ask me"

"Yeah, she's alright" I smiled. "I love her man"

"I know you do" He grinned winking at me.
