Sometimes I feel like writing lapidot and bam. This'll be a book full of one-shots.
Updates will vary a lot, so be ready for that.
Please note I have no idea how to write romance, since I'm not really used to fanfiction in general. So please tell me...

Today Steven had decided to visit Lapis and Peridot at the barn, to see if they were still getting along well since his last visit. The little kid was a sweet little kid, who'd get sad even if you accidentally killed an ant. Steven was mostly just excited to see Lapis and Peridot though, but he was also worried about Lapis since Malachite.
Shaking the thought of the unstable fusion out of his head, Steven came to the front of the barn just to catch a glimpse of them sleeping on the truck that was somehow in the wall of the barn. Peridot was sleeping with her head on Lapis's shoulder, and she was snoring lightly. "Lapis! Peridot!" Steven shouted, trying to wake the pair up.
After three attempts, Steven saw Peridot stir. She sleepily got up, drool running down her face. "H-huh? Steven?" Peridot's raspy voice called out. "Peridot! It's me, Steven!" "Okay, just give me a moment." Peridot needed a minute to realize where she was. She remembered that she had asked Lapis to watch Camp Pining Hearts with her, and Peridot remembered being tired- "Oh my stars," Peridot mumbled. She wiped the drool off her face, then gingerly grabbed Lapis's shoulder.
After five minutes of trying, Peridot finally woke Lapis up, and the two had gotten down to greet Steven. "Hey Steven!" Lapis greeted, smiling slightly. It made sense. Even the most depressed people could be cheered up by the kid. He was just a little ball of sunshine. "Wait, be right back guys! I have a few gifts that I forgot!" Steven realized. He ran off to grab his gifts for Peridot and Lapis. Lapis leaned against the outside barn wall, chuckling lightly. Peridot ran over quickly, trying to mimic Lapis, when she tripped on a rock, falling near Lapis. Lapis's eyes widened, and she moved to catch Peridot in her arms. She gracefully caught her, one arm on her back, the other grabbing her arm. Giggling, Peridot leaned her forehead to touch with Lapis's. The two once-homeworld gems didn't notice the glowing coming from their gems.
Steven bounced back, just to catch Lapis and Peridot fusing. He dropped the gifts, and rushed over as the fusion formed. Lapis and Peridot's fusion had two eyes, and four arms, and those two eyes were wide open. He stood still to watch as the fusion stood in shocked silence. They shook, and raised a shaky hand to their nose, expecting a sharp gem, that belonged to Jasper, only to find a regular nose. With open eyes, they softly moved their hand to their forehead, and felt Peridot's gem. Tears formed, and the fusion fell to their knees. Rushing over, Steven held the fusion's hand. "L-lapis, Peridot!" Steven stammered. "Can you hear me? Are you okay?" They nodded, crying. "I'm fine. It-it just... feels so different," the fusion stammered. "Good different or bad different?"
The fusion hugged themselves, then pulled Steven into a hug too. "Good."
