It was late night, and in a barn in the middle of nowhere, two certain gems were laying on a blanket draped on the floor. They were watching the moonlight stream in through cracks in the barn door as they laid on the blanket, sitting in a comfortable silence. Lapis, with her back to the floor and her arms behind her head, sighed happily. She glanced over to the faint glow in the barn, coming from Peridot's tablet.
"Did you know that the human "eye" apparently has over two million working parts?" Peridot blurted, sitting on the blanket with her tablet placed in front of her. She was relatively close to Lapis, her hand resting on Lapis's. Lapis hummed, smiling at the back of Peridot's head.

"Say, Peridot," Lapis started, "can I take off your visor?" She sat up, sitting straight up, looking at Peridot.
"Why would you want that?" Peridot asked, shutting off her tablet.
"Cause." Peridot realized that asking Lapis anymore wouldn't get her anymore. At this thought, Peridot relented, letting out a sigh.
"Fine." When Peridot had said fine, Lapis jumped up, moving so she was in front of the small green gem.

Lapis sat there, hand twitching as if it wanted to move. Her dark blue eyes looked up at Peridot.
"You're okay with this, right?" Lapis asked, her hand still in the middle of them. Peridot nodded. Lapis gingerly removed Peridot's visor, gently holding them so they wouldn't break. "Now, that wasn't bad, was it-" Lapis opened her eyes, only to be staring into baby blue eyes. "Why, Peridot," Lapis started, grabbing Peridot's chin and lifting it up, "look at you." Peridot nervously looked at Lapis, a blue blush forming on her cheeks. Lapis smiled.

"You're beautiful."

Hello everyone! It is I, the great AsianDragonQueen! I'm back with another shitty lapidot one-shot, ehehehe

On the topic of that, did you know I'm planning to make a Steven Universe one-shot book? So it'll be filled with ships, not just lapidot! Might not even be ships sometimes, so yeah, look out for that I guess.

Also, soon I'll be making a lapidot book! All I really need right now is a cover and some plot and I'll have it... covered. It'll be a mermaid AU book, and I'm planning to use the one-shots I've made for it.

More notes, I'm making a new cover for this book! I think the one I have currently is kinda bad, so I'll be finishing up a drawing around tomorrow?

Finally, my last piece of news! Kinda personal, but eh.

I've acquired a girlfriend! (somehow) I'm really happy about this ahaha
