"Hey Turquoise, let's watch some science videos before bed!" Peridot declared, grabbing her laptop as leaned over to the coffee table.
"Peridot Rivera, are you trying to turn my daughter into a nerd?" Peridot looked toward the doorframe to see her wife, leaning on the frame while smirking.
"You're one to talk, Lazuli, I caught you trying to show Turquoise ocean documentaries a few days back!" Peridot laughed, moving their small child onto her lap. Lapis went to sit down next to her short wife, a small smile on her face.
"We're both dorks." Lapis leaned her head on the shorter woman's shoulder.
"Does that make our daughter some ultra dork?" Peridot pondered after a few minutes. The science documentary played on in the background as their daughter slept quietly on Peridot's arm. Lapis spoke as her cheek was smushed against her wife's shoulder.
"Then our child's reputation is ruined. I rule we kick out the bigger nerd," the blue haired woman joked. "There's only room for one!"
"Nooo, don't leave!" Peridot laughed, barely managing to not shake. Lapis snorted, kissing her wife on the cheek.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Lazuli."
