Updates will vary a lot, so be ready for that.
Please note I have no idea how to write romance, since I'm not really used to fanfiction in general. So please tell me...

Peridot noticed Lapis slowly open her eyes. Since Lapis was still asleep, her eyes were glossy. It looked like when Lapis's gem had been cracked- well, at least what Steven had told Peridot what it looked like. The short green gem jumped when Lapis reached out to grab her. The cold blue hand pulled Peridot toward Lapis, making her fall into the hammock. "Gah-" Peridot was interrupted when a pair of cold blue arms wrapped around her. Those blue arms pulled Peridot backward into Lapis. Lapis buried her face into Peridot's shoulder, inhaling.
Now Peridot was a flustered mess; almost all of Peridot's face was covered in a green blush. The feeling of Lapis's cold body sent shivers up Peridot's spine. Of course an ocean gem was cold. Not that Peridot was complaining.
Although Peridot was unable to sleep, she allowed herself to be cuddled by Lapis, taking in the feeling of her cold limbs and warm breath.
Stars, the things Lapis did to her.
