So my friend and I were supposed to work on an article during last week's excursion. Technically, I was supposed to work on it whilst she engaged in the activities. But y'know, same thing.

So we wrote down key notes during the Kung Fu, and this is what I found when I checked it this morning:

* The activity began with a brisk warm up
* The students displayed their flexibility during this warmup
* The teacher demonstrated impressive techniques
* The teacher encouraged the student to perform high kicks to their best of their ability
* While some students looked uncomfortable with this exercise only a few enjoyed it as they were afraid of injuring themselves
* Students attempted the movements, though most failed miserably.
* One student displayed exceptional skill in the martial art just learnt
* Things got very physical...
* Some teachers participated and contemplated their existences
* Participants created a circle, and everyone was encouraged to perform their skills in front of their peers.
* Revision went well, as the students remembered most of the techniques passed down to them through the generations
* Teachers were impressed with the exceptional performance, though were not surprised by the large number of failures in the group.
* Blink-182's "Bored to Death" ought to have been played.

Not very band related, but there's an insight into what happens in my mind.
