Well, well, well... (WHY ANDY BIERSACK WILL BE THE BEST AMPAS HOST.)

So apparently, unless I'm too tired to read sources correctly, Andy Biersack/Black/Sixx/Whateverhegoesbynow is hosting the AMPAS.

My thoughts are irrelevant and uncalled for, but still:
• I'm surprised Jalex won't be hosting again.
• I'm relieved that Jalex won't be hosting again.
• I'm wholeheartedly excited for this. Why? Well, despite Alternate Press only choosing Andy due to his overwhelming popularity, there are a list of benefits for both the company, Andy and the fans.

And so here's the top five reasons as to why Andy makes the best AMPAS host.

(Disclaimer: no serious hate intended. Whilst I don't agree with some people's actions, words or decisions below, I do not wish to be hateful and simply offer my perspective on the matter and not the person.)

1. We've finally got someone who isn't a try-hard.

This isn't to say that Jalex were shitty hosts. They weren't. Neither was Mark in 2014. I won't mention Hoppus much, considering I never watched more than three minutes of that award show, so let's focus on Jack and Alex. They seemed so damn fake last time. Probably the time before, too, but I was paying less attention then.
Jalex attempted to make scenarios humorous when all they were really doing was reading prompts. Prompts written by other people aren't funny. Funny moments that were previously written aren't comedic.
Sure they had a few good moments and had me frantically voting for Jack the entire time, but that doesn't excuse their presentation.

I feel as though Andy will shy away from the stereotypical, try-too-hard-to-be-the-funniest-motherfucker host usually seen at these events. Let's face it; the dude managed to get everyone laughing over earplugs and high fives at his 2016 Perth WA show (which, by the way, was awesome as hell).

2. His dad will be on top of that Twitter feed like there's no tomorrow.

If there's one person who deserves the best father ever award, it's Chris Biersack. And it should be awarded to him at the show.
That guy is constantly promoting Andy, Juliet and retweeting fans. To most of us, he's the unofficial member of Andy's solo career and Black Veil Brides.
So seeing constant Twitter updates from him while I'm sitting in class will be wonderful.
(P.S: Chris, if you don't make at least one appearance on stage or fail to tweet every moment, I'm not gonna be pleased.)

3. Perhaps all the amusement from shipping Jalex will be taken away and more of the spotlight will be available for musicians. And Andy's stand up comedy/improv.

4. If Juliet wins an award...

Listen. I'm not a fan of Juliet's music. I've attempted listening to her work on multiple occasions, and it's okay, but it's just not something I come back to. I still have respect for her as an artist, despite my disagreements with a fair few things she's done throughout her career and/or life. So it's obvious that I wouldn't know if she's released anything lately. If she has, then can we all just take a moment to consider how cute it would be if Andy got to announce an award and say, "The winner is... my beautiful wife, Juliet!"
And then she'd run on stage and they'd have a moment and I'd be in Chinese class like, "FUCK YES, BISCHES! *Flips a table.* *Hugs a whiteboard.* *Dances awkwardly.*"

5. We'll get a few good hours of staring at what we can only describe to be a sexy female deer.

*Insert any Andy photo 'cause they all prove my point.*

Who the hell wouldn't want to stare at Andy for hours? Yeah I'm ace and aro but I'm not emotionless!
His voice could literally become ASMR and Shane Dawson would be living for it.

6. This is a company one: profit.

If y'all knew how much Alternate Press will earn from having one of the scene's most successful musicians hosting their main event, you'd be in tears. And so would freaken I. 'Cause right now I'm just seeing a 30% profit rise since Jalex.

So in conclusion (this sounds like a persuasive essay), Andy will be freaken awesome, just so long as AP don't sell him out. Which could happen. I don't want it to, but he's close, due to his current popularity. But then again, he's Andy and I'm doubting that'll happen.

Next year: probably Kellic hosting.
