The hard times are over, my friends. Paramore are back! (It took them long enough...)
There's been a lot of controversy already with this track, with half of the YouTube comments dissing the band's new style.
But I honestly believe this type of style was kinda predictable for Paramore.
There's some FBR influence, but not a lot. The music video in particular.
I dunno, their interference is kinda masked within what Paramore were trying to do.
I haven't listened to it too much - yet, but the only real problem I have is some of the lyrics. Particularly the chorus; "Hard times/Gonna wonder why you even try" it's just so "look, little emo try hard motherfuckers! Come join this fandom and scream over us! We're so lyrically appealing to your current difficulties! We understand how difficult middle school is! We care!"
It just makes me wanna yell "NO" louder than humanly possible. But Hayley's voice, the instrumentals and some of the lyrics make for a really good song.
This might be the unpopular opinion, but I REALLY LIKE THIS GODDAMN SONG.
And I don't know if I'm the only one, but there iS A SENSE OF THE "OLD" PARAMORE.
4/5.
Listen to it for yourself:

.You may be wondering "is Sara high or some shiz?"
And to that I reply no. Unless my grandmother put crack in my tea or some shiz.
I'm just super hyped yet nervous 'cause tomorrow is the Vlado Sarić concert.
Y'all: who in the actual horsefuck?
OKAY SO:
Vlado is an ex-X Factor contestant from last year. He got to the final four or some shit. I don't know, I never watch the X Factor. He's playing a show in my city tomorrow, and has three opening acts - all from Perth:
• The Fisher Boys;
• Calm Collected; and
• Those Who Dream. The Fishy Dudes are what I'd describe as "classy pop", since they have a classy element to them, though are obviously a pop band. They're also all brothers (as far as I'm aware). Their single, "G.O.T.E" is pretty good, around a 3.5/5 from me. Here's the official video. Check it out if you want some refreshing pop:
Calm Collected are your classic Pop Punk, pizza-loving local band. They're kind of like "Small Town Heroes" but in their own way. Also, they steal other people's music. Oh, I'm sorry; they borrow it.
Here's their video for "Nothing like the Movies". Watch it, then we'll work together to see if they use other artists' elements or if I'm just high from that tea:(OKAY SO WATTPAD IS BEING A BITCH - AS ALWAYS - BUT HERE'S A LINK TO PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS SONG RIGHT NOW: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YXtZqdOCkps )
In three... two... one...
Sing it with me now!
OH MY GOD I'M SUCH A TERRIBLE MESS,
I'M TURNED ON BY THE TABLOIDS, YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE GUESSED,
THAT I'M A SUCKER FOR THEIR GOSSIP, MAN I TAKE IT TOO FAR.
I BOTTLE UP MY HOLLYWOOD AND WATCH THEM NAME THEIR KIDS AFTER CARS-Random person: WRONG SONG, SARA!
But... isn't this how it goes?
Random person: I only just realised that this isn't ATL!
Then... whO RIPPED OFF ALL TIME LOW?!?!
Random person: it's 2017, Sara. People don't "rip off". They simply borrowed it for their own purposes (:
DON'T GO ALL TUMBLR ON ME! THIS IS CLASSIC ATL BEING USED BY-
*Gets arrested by the Tumblr cops for being a public nuisance who didn't just sit there and deal with the fact that a band is ripping off someone else.*
I still like Calm Collected, though. They're cool. Besides all the possible copyright strikes.
And lastly...
Those Who Dream.
These two brothers have been around for around three years now, and have been hinting for forever that a new EP - Life in Cyan - is coming out.
We're still waiting, boys.
I contacted them regarding a photo pass for tomorrow's show, and they were kind enough to arrange one.
They're actually the only band scheduled to play that:
1. I've seen live before.
2. Are original (though do a lot of covers. Like, a lot. But they dON'T STEAL OTHER PEOPLE'S MUSIC AND THAT'S ALL THAT COUNTS.)
3. I've seen at random points in my life (refer to the Twenty Øne Piløts concert, when Josh Meyer was casually walking past with like thirty bags of fast food. Yes, Josh, I noticed. And so did my mother.)Their music is really damn good, but I've gotta say, the editing on most of these videos is just... let's just say this: DUDES, STAHP TRIMMING YA HEADS OFF IN VIDEOS. Besides that 1975 cover. That was gooooood.
Here's an original:
Here's that 1975 cover I was just mentioning:
.
.
.
.I've ranted on enough. Let's just say that Sara is nervous to be doing concert photography around fans of pure pop music - who tend to be very judgemental if past concerts are anything to go by - and the headliner is a prick. He's also from my country.
So yeah.
Live long and headbang,
Hopefully my ears survive,
xx-Sara(Ps I cannot be bothered rereading and editing this chapter for errors right now, but I'll do so later. If you see random words capitalised or just weird expressions then I'm sorreh.)
