To YouTube or not to YouTube?

Good Charlotte performed "Life Can't Get Much Better" on The Voice last night and I cried and my grandmother said, and I quote, "they're really good".
Yay she's becoming pop-punk-whatever.

Just as much as I hope to begin a YouTube channel, there are so many reasons as to why the idea doesn't interest me.
Reasons to YouTube:
1. Exposure;
2. Assistance for future work I hope to engage in;
3. Working with others on the site; and
4. Experience in acting and directing.

There are a few more reasons that I've forgotten at the moment (including MONEY FOR BAND MERCH~) though here are a list of reasons as to why I don't want to YouTube:
1. Parents would know.
2. YouTube is linked to Twitter which is linked to Wattpad and if my parents found out about Wattpad I'd be as dead as a corpse.
3. Filming. Whilst parents are there judging every moment.
4. My parents in general.

And probably more crap that I've currently forgotten.

I love filming, acting, writing scripts, writing in general, production, embarrassing myself and everything else involved in creating videos, though the negative points are fucking with my mind.

I hope to enter the Wattys with a novel that would just be a straight-up NO for my parents (and they would claim that I'm an embarrassment to their country), and I have a fear they might end up finding out about it if I have YouTube.
I cannot YouTube without them knowing, mostly as my face will be in the videos (duh) and other crap, so that's off the table, though I really don't know what to do so help me.

Just before I leave for the day, I wanna give a shoutout to a few people, as promoting only one person is just not fair.
