6 Months Later
"Flash Day is almost here. A special downtown rally to honor the man who saved Central City." The reporter began to say as I sat on my stool tapping my pen against the table. "It's been six months since the Flash saved Central City from the freak black hole that erupted in the sky..."
The T.V suddenly turned off and Caitlin stepped in front of it with the remote in hand. "I swear if I continue to hear that pen continuously tapping against that table I will go crazy."
"Sorry." I mumbled before turning back towards the table to finish the lab report.
"So what have you been thinking about?" She asked as she leaned against the table beside me.
"Diggle called me this morning." I told her and she looked at me curiously.
"And..."
"And he says the team is having some troubles, he wants me go back to Starling...Star City." I continued and I didn't even realize I was back to tapping my pen against the table until Caitlin took it away.
"What about Oliver?" She questioned.
"You know...still living that white picket fence life with Felicity. And I'm happy for him. After everything that's happened he's been able to move on."
"This is the first time I've ever heard someone say that their happy that their husband is with another woman." Caitlin joked and I rolled my eyes in response.
"A part of me blames you." I accused as I stood up and pulled out a microscope from the supply room. "You and you're traditions."
"Well I can tell you that when I threw those flowers at you my intention was definitely not for you to marry Oliver." She countered with a chuckle.
"Well that plan backfired on you didn't it?" I continued, and I couldn't believe that we we're actually joking around about this.
"It backfired horribly." She agreed as she slipped on a pair of gloves. "So...are you going to do it."
"I don't know." I told her as I removed my lab coat. "And that's not all."
Caitlin looked up from the slide that she was preparing as she looked at me expectantly. "Oh no...is it bad?"
"I guess not, just conflicting." I trailed off before Caitlin waved her hand over my face waiting for me to continue. "Sorry. It's just that Cisco wants to go over to the CCPD...something about helping him with a boot?"
"Go." She replied simply.
"Go?" I repeated in disbelief. "You can't be serious?"
"Why not? I mean you're about to go on you're break anyways." I thought about her words before checking the time. Barry should be on his lunch break right now too so the chances of me running into him should be slim.
"Okay." I said mostly to myself as I picked up by purse. "Okay I'm going."

"Cisco this is me noticing you staring." I said as I looked up from his calculations sheet.
"I guess I can't believe you actually came. I mean I've been trying to convince you for weeks." He muttered in disbelief as he pulled up a chair next to me.
"Well I knew you wouldn't stop asking if I didn't" I countered as I handed him back his sheet. "I don't know why you said you needed my help. These calculations are perfect."
