I was hesitant on brining her to S.T.A.R Labs, a part of me not fully wanting to trust her. After everything that's been happening to us it was painfully clear that it was becoming very difficult to trust anybody. But we needed her to trust us, so that we could help her.

Jade and I led her into the Cortex and I watched her as she looked around the room in awe. I knew she had more questions than we did. And I could only wonder how many I could actually answer, one of the reason I brought her here was because Barry and the rest of the team were out rescuing Wells.

"Let's start by you giving us your name." I told her firmly and her head immediately turned towards me, as if she forgot Jade and I were in the room with her. At first nervous look crossed her face but it was quickly masked with a new sense of confidence.

"Just a couple of minutes ago you told me to trust you." She replied looking directly at me."How can I trust you if I don't even know who's behind the mask?"

I felt slightly shocked at the confidence she showed as she talked to me. Drastically different from the scared girl at the bank. And now I could see who she really was. A definitely was impressed that she wasn't one to easy trust someone, so I pulled of my forest green mask setting it on the desk beside me.

I watched as the girl's eyes widened, whether it was because she recognized me or I wasn't what she expected I wasn't sure. And as she turned towards Jade expectantly I was surprised to see that she was also taking of her own mask.

"My name is Diane Crock and this is my sister Jade." I introduced myself and my sister. "Your right, how can you trust someone if you don't have that trust in return? And although we just met, I need you to know that I trust you. If I didn't I wouldn't have brought you here. So what's your name?"

"Lorena." She replied softly seeming to have finally let her guard down. "My name is Lorena."

"Alright Lorena. Why?" I asked her, causing her to look away in shame. Her reaction making me change my question all together."Actually, who did you do that for?"

"It's my mom she's sick and I need money. That simple." She told me bluntly trying to make it seem less important than she actually was. It was clear that she was trying to avoid showing anymore signs of weakness. I couldn't relate to her love for her mother, because I hated mine. But I did understand being willing to do anything for the person that you loved.

"Let me take a guess." I began to say wanting to change the subject, and simply because I didn't need to know more. I stepped closer to Lorena as Jade simply took a seat on the other side of the room. "You got your powers from the Particle Accelerator explosion. Didn't you?"

She simply nodded and continued to avoid eye contact with me. From the way she was acting I almost felt like I was talking to a child. And the truth was that she was. She was too young to have to deal with all these burdens.

"I wish there was something more I could do to help you, to help your mother, I see how much you care for her." I told her slowly, trying to chose my words wisely. I was very aware that there really wasn't anything I could to to really help her. Not in ways that could make a difference. "All I can really do to help her is have S.T.A.R Labs cover her medical expenses. Lift that burden of your shoulders. But, you Lorena. Here at S.T.A.R. Labs we can help you with your powers. Your very powerful, and we can help you learn more about them how to control them."

"I don't care about these powers." She told me her voice laced with annoyance as she looked down a her hands. "I've been hiding them from my mom this whole time. All I want to do is get rid of them. I don't deserve them. People like The Flash should be the ones getting these powers. People that can use them for good. I mean just look at me, I became like all those other dirtbag metas who use their powers for their own selfish needs."
