"What's being described as a 'spontaneous energy malfunction' erupted last night at Eikmeier Technologies. Wanted for questioning is scientist Henry Hewitt." The new reporter explained as images of a lab flashed on the screen.

Caitlin turned of the T.V clearly feeling guilty over this situation. "Hewitt's dormant abilities must have been triggered when we attempted the merge."

"This could be catastrophic." Professor Stein exclaimed. "If his powers are anything like mine, he requires a grounding mechanism to stabilize his volatility. Otherwise..."

"Yeah, he's gonna pop his top, and he's got a long history of violence, according to his police record." Cisco informed as he continued to

"Police record?" I questioned as I looked over at Caitlin accusingly.

"I didn't find a police record." She quickly replied looking over at Cisco.

"Yeah, of course not, it was sealed, but guess what, ya boy hacked in and...hold on, wait for it." He said as Hewitt's police record appeared on the television screen. "One count battery, two counts aggravated assault, court-ordered anger management therapy."

"He seemed like such a nice guy." Caitlin muttered as we all looked at her in disbelief. "He even knew your Hudson nerd song."

Professor Stein opened his mouth to reply before he began to gasp in pain. "Whoa, you okay?" Cisco asked the professor, placing a hand on his shoulder to help steady him.

"It appears Mr. Hewitt's stability isn't the only one in question. I think I need to lie down."

"Yeah, I'll come with you." Cisco quickly replied as he helped Professor Stein into the medical bay.

Caitlin looked up at us with a mixture of worry and frustration. "Professor Stein is getting worse. And Hewitt's like this because of me. And now Jefferson Jackson will never come back because of what I said." She began to list of and there was no arguing that this whole situation turned out this way because of her stubbornness. "I just didn't believe that he has what it takes."

"This isn't because you didn't believe in him." Barry said softly looking down at the desk. "Sometimes, great possibilities are right in front of us, and we don't see them, because we choose not to. I think that we need to be open to exploring something new."

"Wow that was poetic." I commented.

Barry looked up at me before nodding slowly. "Yeah, just thinking about some advice Joe gave me."

"Okay." I replied noticing that there was something off about him but I brushed it off before turning to look over at Caitlin. "I think someone owes Jax an apology."

"I know." Caitlin confirmed as she stood up from her chair. "I'm going to make this right."

"Guys!" Cisco exclaimed as he rushed out of the medical bay. "It's Professor Stein!" Barry and I quickly rushed out of our seats and ran inside the other room where Stein was convulsing in his bed. "Where's Caitlin?"

"She left to try to get Jax back." Barry informed as we attempted to hold down the Professor.

"What do we do?"

"How about we give him a sedative to calm him down?" Barry suggested looking at us for confirmation but I shook my head as I placed my hand on Stein's forehead.

"He would burn it off right away." I replied before opening a drawer and pulling out a thermometer. "His temperature is rising fast. We need Caitlin."
