Chapter 10: just in time

Already 10 chapters into the story! :D

"I can tell you'll be a lot of fun y/n~"
Dark said in his low, almost sexy voice. You backed away from him until you hit the wall. Dark stepped closer to you, only a few inches away. He smirked and grabbed your waist as you stare at him with fear. You see his fangs as he smiles evily. He then leans in so that your noses almost touch, and then kisses you roughly. He licks your lips, almost asking for entrance, but then slips his tongue into your mouth without permission. 'Whatever he's doing, I won't be going down without a fight' you thought, as you started fighting for dominance. Dark, obviously, won. You groaned in annoyance and fear as Dark deepened the kiss, grasping your hair and pulling you closer to him. Then you heard a knock on the door and Dark dissapeared before anything could happen, being replaced again with Mark sleeping on the couch. 'Just in time...' You thought as Ellen and the others walked in. "Hey y/n, you okay? You seem a bit shocked" Ellen said with a concerned look. "U-uhh it's nothing", you said, you had to think of a lie. "Chica scared me again". Then you noticed Ellen holding a leech with Chica at the end. "Maybe it was a mouse then" you lied, your face becoming as red as a tomato. "Yeah, maybe" Ellen said to your relief. "Is Mark still asleep? Usually he doesn't sleep on the middle of the day" Ellen asked with a look of suspicion. "Y-yeah! He just wouldn't wake up!" You lied again. "Oh, okay then" Ellen said.

Later that day Mark still hadn't woken up. Everyone kept checking on him from time to time, and Sean sat on him once when he wanted to sit on the couch. Ellen did some cleaning and cared for Chica, Sean made sure there were snacks (although he ate all of them), Felix went away to find something to do that evening, and you kept an eye on Mark. It was around 11 PM when you started to get really worried about Mark. He had been asleep all day, and Dark had made some small appearances at random. Ellen seemed to notice Dark too every time he appeared, as she would stare at the places he appeared all day. But she seemed to see something else too. Sometimes she would scream, or yell "go away!" Or "get out of my head!" at random moments. 'Could that be Eclipsacorn?' You asked yourself.

It was midnight. The whole house was dark except for a few lights that were turned on. Mark was still asleep, and you and the others had stayed in the living room all the time. When the clock hit 12, all the lights went out. Ellen screamed and Sean covered his head with a plate with cookies. Felix stayed calm. "Jeez, it's just the power that went down. I'll go look for a flashlight." He said, his voice a bit shaky. Ellen went into 'extremely-scared-potato-mode' and started hugging her knees. Then you heard a low, raspy voice.
