Ch. 31: reunion [20K special!]

You open your eyes to find yourself in what looked like a hallway, but there was no roof, the floor was just plain dirt, and the walls were made of plants. It looked like you were in a maze, but... How? You search through your memory. What had happened?
Okay, from the start.

You and your family were moving to L.A., when you got trapped in a storm and the car got crushed.
You got saved by Mark, Sean, and Felix.
Mark asked you to stay over at his place, together with the others, and a new friend: Ellen.
Stuff started going bad. Demons started showing up, which resulted in a big fight.
One by one your friends were taken, and there was nothing you could do.
You ended up in some weird heaven-ish world with your parents, and that was the first time you saw the 'thing'.
The next morning you woke up in the dream world thing and had another encounter with Dark.
Then the Nightmare/Dream thing happened.
Tick, tock...
You fainted, and now you're here.

In other words, since you met the YouTubers, your life had been a rollercoaster. You look around you, but there was no other way than forward. You start walking through the hall of plants. If you looked up, all you could see was the grey, green-ish sky, like the one from the Nightmare Realm. You keep walking, having no idea for how long. After what seemed like ages, you end up in front of a plant wall. You could go left, or right, but the paths both ended up in the same spot. It seemed like there was a small open spot behind the wall, like the place were Mark was, but you couldn't go there. You look around, maybe there is some way to get in there or to climb over the hedge. All you found was a stick. The hedge was thick, but you should be able to make a hole in it so you could go through. After poking the hedge for what felt like hours, you had made a small hole which you could peek through. You could see a big rock, just like the one from the vision from the pond. This must be it. You start making the hole bigger at a quick pace, until it's wide enough for you to fit through. You run to the rock, Mark must be there. But he wasn't. There was only a shadow. THE shadow. The one that had been stalking you ever since the defeat of the demons after Five Nights at Marki's. It was right there, staring at you. It didn't really have a shape. It was this morphing mass of blackness with red eyes. When it saw you, it started taking a shape. It was Dark. "Hello Y/N..." he said, smiling his sinister smile. "It seems you beat my little game... That was fun, right?" He said, standing up now. "You see, the person you saw in that pond? That was me. The person stalking you in the Dreamscape and the Nightmare Realm? All me. The Thing from your parent's heavenly home? Also me. You see, Y/N? You can't escape me. But now it's time for the final act. I made you this labyrinth. All your friends are somewhere in here. All trapped in a cage of obstacles. If you don't save them in time, they'll die. The second option is to come with me. Be mine
Y/N, and all of this will be over." "And my friends? Will you release them?" You ask him. "I'll let them live. But they will be trapped in here." Dark says. "Why would I even come with you if you're gonna keep my friends here?" You ask. "Because I am really that handsome? For fucks sake Y/N, I'll let them survive. Or you can just play my little game forever. The choice is up to you~" Dark says. "I'd rather be stuck here forever than be stuck with an asshole like you. The way you treat people is wrong. I know you are a demon, but don't you ever want someone to love you? 'Cause I never will. Maybe you can ask Eclipsacorn. Considering Ellen had a crush on Mark I bet she'll like you. Plus, she's just as evil as you." Dark stares at you, and he even seemed to be hurt by the words "cause I never will'. "Alright. Go on and be trapped here forever. Soon your friends will be dead. You will be here, trapped, all alone. And if I'm lucky, I'll see you find their dead corpses. Tick. Tock." He says, before disappearing into thin air.
