Ch. 75: Game night

Don't start the music until I say so!

After you put away the letter you went back to the others who were having fun in the living room. Ellen was currently beating Mark, Ethan and Tyler at a Mario Kart Wii match, making the boys whine like little babies.
"Haha! I told y'all I was good at this!"
"Try and beat me at Mario Kart 8!"
"Sure Mark, keep trying."
At the same time Sean, Felix, Bob and Wade were playing Just Dance 2017 on the other television in the room, and it was obvious neither Bob or Wade was going to win.

Since all the others were distracted, you decided to go to the attic early. You went to the stairs that led up to the dark room, and soon you were upstairs.
Unfortunately, what you saw wasn't what you expected.

Dark stood against the wall, arms crossed and eyes closed, glitching uncontrollably. "Dark! I can't believe it! I missed you so much!" You said, running up to him to hug him.
But he turned around as soon as you came close to him. "D-Dark?"
"You betrayed me."
"What?"
"You know what you did, Y/N. You went to the Fairytale Dimension to get Mark, not me."
"You literally helped me get him back!"
"Because I wouldn't be able to go back if he didn't! I had no choice!"
Dark was standing only inches away from you, his finger pointing at you and face on rage mode.
"You betrayed me, Y/N. I thought we cared about each other."
"We do!"
"Apperantly not. You only care about yourself and Mark."
"Dark... whatever you want to do, don't do it!"
"Stop it, Y/N. You're dead to me."

With those last words Dark disappeared.

While you were upstairs, the others were just taking a break from their games. Ellen was, apart from Amy (she isn't Mark's gf here) and Kathryn, the only girl at the party, as the other girls were hanging out upstairs.
Ellen was sitting on the couch, drinking an ice tea after her last Mario Kart victory over the boys. To her right sat Ethan, and to the left was Mark (I wish lmfao).
Ellen scooted a bit to the right, leaning slightly against Ethan's shoulder. He smiled at her.
"You are really good at this game, Ellen."
"Thanks mate! You're not too bad yourself." She blushed a bit.
Ethan blushed a bit as well, before he loaded another course of Mario Kart. Of course. Rainbow Road.

Whoopsies, looks like Dark isn't in the mood to talk :')
