(Real) Ch. 23: Landscapes of dreams and nightmares

I've kept you guys waiting for waaay to long for that last chapter, so I'll be writing more often now! Enjoy!

"Y/N? Are you alright? You dozed off for a moment there"
A friendly voice. A familiar one. You open your eyes and stare into Ellen's blue eyes. "Thank god you're awake. We have to find Mark, and quickly, since Dark is also on his way..." she said. "Wha... I don't understand... Mark... Died... Stabbed him after an argument..." you mumble, very tired and very confused. Ellen stared at you, looking just as confused. "He isn't dead silly, you must've had a dream. Come on, the others are waiting. It's still a long way to go" she said. You look around. You appeared to be in some sort of camp, and Ellen, Sean, and Felix were standing by a campfire.
Where is Mark?
Where did Dark go?
Where am I?
Those were the questions flying through your head as you walked out of the tent you had, apparently, slept in. The landscape was odd, but beautiful, like a dream. The trees grew in impossible shapes, their leaves colored in every color of the rainbow. "What is this place?" You ask the others. "You don't remember? We're in this unknown land, looking for Mark to find him before Dark does." Ellen said, like everything around them wasn't weird at all. You look at a strange looking tree, (even stranger then the others), as you saw something behind it. There was a thing there. It looked similar to the shadow you had seen before, although you hadn't seen it in a short while. You heard a bird chirping in the back of your mind before everything became black.

You scratch the back of your head as you sit straight up. You appeared to be in the same room you were when Dark came back, but how? "Hello dearie, I see you're finally awake! You know, it's kind of rude to fall asleep when someone's talking to you, but because I'm in a good mood I won't punish you. For now." the creepy version of Mark said. "Now, I shall explain some things to you. I have put you in the Dreamscape, a land of dreams and nightmares. If you fall asleep in one, you wake up in the other. But, one of them isn't real." Dark said. 'Must be the weird one with the strange trees...' you thought. "You get the chance to choose one of the two worlds, but choose carefully. If you die in the fake one, you wake up in the real one. If you die in the real one, you'll never wake up again. Fun, right?" Dark spoke. "I'll see you around y/n~, good luck" he chuckles, as his words haunted your mind...

Two lands, one dream.
One with the murder,
One without him,
Choose carefully, reader,
Because if you choose wrong,
All you've gone through,
Will be long gone...
