Hey guys! Welcome to the first part of the alternate ending of this book! If you're here right now, I'm guessing you've read the normal ending. I know it's sad, so I'm making an alternate ending of a few chapters and bonus chapters to cheer you up (hopefully)!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- This is basically just the ending where the wedding doesn't burst into flames, and the reader grows old together with Mark -
The doors to the church opened, and Felix took your arm. The music started playing as you slowly walked down the aisle, with your flower girls behind you, who were throwing white and pink rose petals around. You slowly stepped forwards, trying not to trip over your own feet. You looked through the crowd and saw lots of familiar faces. Loryn and Jonathan were sat side by side and their little baby daughter was looking at you. Rebecca, Charlie, and Jupiter also smiled happily at you, so glad that you too got your happy ending. You saw other people from YouTube and some more friends of yours in the crowd, some of them being Ethan, NateWantsToBattle, KickThePJ, and Random Encounters. You also saw a few vague figures standing in the corner of the room, and they looked like... your family. They smiled at you. You knew they were watching, and they were proud of you.
You were now standing in front of him. Your soon-to-be husband, Mark. You smiled at him, and he happily smiled back.
"Now, please say your vows." The pastor said, and soon after, "Then you may kiss the bride."
Mark wrapped his arms around you and softly but passionately pressed his lips onto yours. Everyone cheered and clapped, and you couldn't have been happier. Once you and Mark pulled away from each other, he smiled lovingly at you, and you smiled back. It couldn't have been better.
The party after the wedding was the most fun thing you had ever experienced in your life. The music was catchy, and soon enough everyone was on the dance floor. There were your favorite snacks, favorite drinks, and the best part: a huge chocolate fountain, of which Sean was very fond. Felix had convinced Marzia to dance with him, but she soon gave up at his ridiculous moves. Ellen and Ethan were hanging out on the couch in front of the tv in the corner of the room. Of course they were playing Mario Kart again.
As the night continued, you decided to take a break from dancing. Mark had agreed on coming with you, being the sweetheart he is.
You were now standing shoulder to shoulder at the snack table.
"Hey, Y/N."
"Hey, Markimoo."
"I love you so damn much..."
"I love you too..."
You and Mark were just about to kiss, when three voices interrupted you.
"Ewww, gross!"
"Yeah, get a room!"
"That's my line!"
Of course. Ellen, Felix, and Sean. You laughed and hugged them. As Ellen hugged you back, she whispered in your ear.
"You have no idea how damn proud of you I am... mainly because you've saved my life multiple times, but also because you got your happy ending now. Two of my best friends, married to each other! I'm so happy everything will finally be okay now..." she said softly, and you agreed with a 'mhm'.
Everything was going to be okay.
"Mom? Mom! Hurry up, or we'll be late!"
The energetic voice of your daughter Lilith could be heard in the whole house.
"Lily, let her sleep! I'm bringing you to school today."
"Why, dad? Do you hate me that much?"
"Lilith Fischbach, get your damn backpack and come to the car!"
"Fine..."
You smiled to yourself as you snuggled a bit further into the blankets, and softly put your hand on your stomache. You were five months into your second pregnancy, six years after your first. Might be a long time, but you and Mark hadn't been sure if you wanted another child after the first one had been so much work. Then again, you loved her dearly, and eventually it was decided that there was going to be another child in the Fischbach family.
You smiled proudly as you saw your youngest daughter, Emma, in her wedding dress. She was going to be the last to leave the house and live with her soon-to-be husband Thomas. Mark wrapped his arm around your shoulders, and kissed you passionately. This is what true love was like.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tears burn in your eyes as Mark lays there. His eyes closed, yet his face still looks just as handsome as it did sixty years ago. His now cold hand softly placed in yours, before you say your final goodbye...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You stood in front of the tombstone, that had room for two names to be engraved on it. You were very ill/sick, and would be reunited with your husband very soon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As you lay in the hospital bed you feel it nearing. It felt cold, yet warm. Stressful, but yet so calm. Is this what dying feels like?
You're alone in the room, but you could feel a familiar presence.
"Hello there, Y/N."
"Hello, Dark."
You hadn't seen the demon since the night before your wedding, but he somehow still looked the same as he did back then.
"I-... I'm sorry Y/N... for everything I did..."
"No need to apologize... it was also partially thanks to you that I found the love of my life..."
"But I'm still sorry... I'm sorry it has to end this way... and I want to say I love you. So, so much..."
"I love you too, Dark..." you say, before your eyes slowly close. You still hear the faint voices of nurses and doctors, slowly fading out.
"Miss Fischbach? Is everything okay? We heard you talking and- Oh my god, STACY, GET DOCTOR SMITH."
"Systems are failing!"
"There is nothing we can do..."
"Goodnight, Y/N..."

Okay, okay, I know, this is also a sad ending, but hey, at least you and Mark grew old together!
