You and Thoran got off your unicorns, but it seemed like the others were too busy acting odd to pay attention to what was going on. In unison, the unicorns all kicked their hind legs as high up in the air as they possibly could, throwing off Loryn, Rebecca, Charlie, and Jonathan. Jupiter however was a skilled rider, even when his personality had changed. He held on to the unicorn with his strong arms, not giving the animal a chance to throw him off, and then jumped off it's back himself. "Okay wood prince. Where now?"
Now that you had to walk through the dark tropical forest without any lights, the islands weren't quite as beautiful. When you looked through the tree tops you could see the Flame, rising high above everything. "It's about a day walking from here. If we hurry, we can be there before dawn." Thoran said. "My feet hurt." You suddenly heard a grumpy female voice behind you. "Looks like the spider's poison is wearing off again..." you said to Thoran. "Already? We've only been walking for half an hour!" Charlie groaned. "How do you know? It's night and we don't have any clocks!" "I'm just very clever!"
Hours passed, and it was about midnight when suddenly the woods had gotten a bit too foggy for your liking. "Jeez, I already couldn't see anything, but this isn't helping!" Rebecca sighed. "I'm wondering how it comes we haven't come across any zombies yet? This place should be filled with them!" Charlie said. Loryn suddenly stopped walking. "Guys. Stand still, don't move at all."
As the words reached the group, everyone stood still. "What's wrong?" Jonathan whispered. "Look over there." Loryn said, pointing at what seemed to be an angel statue. It was quite beautiful, and it covered it's eyes like it was crying. "Don't blink. I'm serious. Keep looking at it. Don't. Blink. That's a weeping angel. When they're being looked at, they can't move, but when you blink... you're dead. These creatures are fast. When they touch you, you'll be zapped back in time and they feed off the time energy of the days you would have lived." Loryn said. "That sounds like Doctor Who!" You said, having heard of the creatures before. "Doctor what?"
"Doctor Who! Sci-fi series, wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff..." you mumble. "Oh. That makes sense. Fairytale Dimension: every story ever can be found in this world." Charlie said. "GUYS. THE THING. IT MOVED." Rebecca suddenly yelled. "It can't move as long as you're looking at it!" Loryn yelled back. You looked over at the angel statue, which was no longer covering it's eyes. It was staring right at you.I'm maybe going to finish this book before the end of the summer holiday. It's only sunday of the first week, so YEAH THAT'S GREAT.
Also there already seem to be people actually shipping Crankicorn. Yes that's the shipping name I came up with for me and Ethan since y'all seem to like it XD
Love, Ellen
