Important!
If you look at the picture and video above, you'll see a drawing (by: bebeshebee on Tumblr) of Killian Jones (captain Hook) from the series Once Upon a Time, who is, in this book, the grandfather of Jonathan. Use that as a reference to what Jonathan himself looks like.

"Take me to the world of fairytales, Captain Hook"

You had spoken the words before you could stop yourself. You didn't regret it, since this was probably the only chance you had to see your friends again, even though you didn't trust the handsome pirate yet.
"You can call me Jonathan, dear." He said, before helping you get on the spooky ship.
"Jonathan?"
"Yes?"
"Where did your pirate accent go?"
He chuckled at your comment.
"That's just for show, dear. Only some pirates really have it"
You blushed a bit, from both embarassment and the fact that Jonathan was kinda cute.

"So Jonathan, tell me again how your ship came from a magical world to this one?" You ask the pirate. "Well, you might find this hard to believe, but this ship has magical powers, which gives her the ability to travel from one dimension to the other. It can travel in time as well!" Jonathan said. "Really? Are there more dimensions?" You asked, your curiosity increasing. "Oh yes, there are countless dimensions. Different universes with different creatures, landscapes, everything. But we're going to the Fairytale dimension, and then to what's known as 'las Islas de los Muertos'. That means 'the Islands of the dead' in Spanish. It's where the dead are sent after they've become like the fairytales: stories. Your friends are there too." Jonathan said. "So, they are dead, but somehow still alive in a different universe? This is getting cooler by the second!" You said excitedly. Jonathan chuckled again. "I suppose. It's daily business to me." He then smiled at you. "What about you? What happened to you?" He asked.
You told him everything. From moving to L.A. to Katie on her killing spree. Jonathan looked at you, clearly shocked by all the things you had had to go through. "You know, I've been in the Nightmare Realm and the Dreamscape. Both incredible places if you know where to be and what to do." Jonathan suddenly said while staring at the open sea. You were sailing under the beautiful night sky, the moon clearly visible.

"Are they dimensions too?" You asked. "Yeah, but travelling to them can only be done by, well, dreaming" Jonathan answered. "Perhaps you should go to bed, Y/N. There is a room for you. We'll be in the Fairytale dimension at dawn." He said after staring at the sea for a little longer. "Okay. Wait, one more question: how does your ship travel between dimensions?" You asked. "There is a passage a two hours North from here. If we are there at midnight, the full moon will be right above us, and we'll be taken by the waves." Jonathan explained (not that it made any sense to you). You just nodded before walking to the room he had showed you.

Tomorrow you were going to save your friends.

Ohmygawd did I let my imagination go too far this time?
