"Boom!" Cole hoots and Adam lightly slaps the back of his head.
He glances at me and my grin instantly draws a smile on his face that he later narrows down, avoiding my gaze.
Adam scored exactly what I scored.
"Among us..." Cole draws a circle around.
"He sucks the most." He points at Adam and Adam doesn't even turn towards us.
Noway!
I suppress my smile.
The turns keep coming and James and Brandon maintain the strikes, three in a row.
Both Nala and Cole soon follow the suit and Adam and I get worse at it...
We were practically competing against each other, and he was definitely winning. Two spares and finally, a strike!
"Ouch..." Cole quirks his head my way and I chuckle, squinting at Adam who frowned amusedly.
"I can do this..." I place my hand over my hips and nod ahead.
I was impatiently waiting for my final turn to come.
I sip on the lasts of my Pinacolada and get to my feet for my turn.
"Give it your best..." Cole winks at me and I nod assuredly.
I take my time, aiming, and aiming again.
I concentrate on giving a full power swing while keeping my arm straight and unbent. Dropping it at a distance not too high, and not too low.It rolls with crazy speed that the 8 in white imprinted on it blurs, becoming a white stripe around the navy blue marble ball.
I stood there staring at the ball until it knocks almost all the bottles down.
All except one..."Seriously?!" I stomp one foot and they all burst in laughter behind me, even Nala...
I turn around to face them, rubbing the back of my neck, totally shamefaced.
"You got better and that's all that matters." Cole was trying to control his laughter and I rolled my eyes at him amusedly.
The score list appears on the screen and both Brandon and James chuckle.
"Bastard." Brandon messes James's hair and James laughs at him.
It was a tie between them.
They both won the first place, then there was Nala, Cole, Adam, and I concluded the list with my thrifty score.
"Back to our place?" Adam suggests after we get back into our shoes and walk out of the bowling center.
Brandon shakes his head.
"Homestation..." He speaks and Adam squints at him.
"What's the difference?" He shook his head.
"I don't know, free food? Faster service?" Brandon shrugs.
"Yeah, I like it there..."
"I don't want to go home." Nala shrugs.Adam glances at Cole and Cole shrugs indifferently, glancing at me.
"I'm good with anything..." I shrugged too.
"James!" Brandon slaps James's arm and James glares at him after lowering his phone.
"I'm talking to bae."
"I'll see what she prefers." He speaks and this time they all squint at him."Alright-"
"Hold up-hold up-" He pulls his hand up.
