"Hey..." I turn around and find Madonna standing in the doorway.
Her frown forms.
"Were you seated here all this time?" She widens her eyes and I shake my head.
"No, I just got here..."
"I was doing some stuff... In my room..." I gulped.
"Alright..." She takes the seat before me.
"How was your outing with Cole." I wiggle my eyebrows and she smiles a little.
"Tess, I'm worried about you..."
Here we go again...
"I'm not going through this again. I'm going to bed..." I get to my feet and wave back at her.
"You know-"
"He's not okay either..."
"Cole said so."
I stopped for a moment and then nodded back at her before I went into our room and my chest tightened hard.
Why was I such a sucker for pain?!

"Come on Tess!"
"It's our last day here!"
"Come to the beach with us!" Madonna continues dragging me by my arm and I reach for the bed frame and pull against her.
"No!" I yell at her and she drops my arm.
"I don't want to meet with Satan! Just-leave me alone." I pull my hands up and eye her sternly.
She huffs and then she leaves the room and shuts the door behind her.
Adam has been avoiding me all day...
I was still shocked he didn't have anything to say for himself last night.
I never yelled in his face before...
I felt awful about it.
I plug in my earphones and slam the pillow above my face.
I've been listening to only one song for the last couple of days, set on replay...
Warm by SG Lewis.
When I feel the walls of my room tighten around me, I put on my sneakers and toss on a light jacket over my baby blue sundress and leave the room, leaving the cabin from the backdoor.
I take a long walk, passing by strangers from nearby cabins.
I find for myself a lonely swing and I smile to myself before I lower myself onto it and begin swinging back and forth until my hair was all over my face.
I look around before I laugh soundly, more like hysterically...
I was glad no one was around to watch this...
"Are you crazy?"
I gasp when I swing back and bump into Adam's hard chest.
He brought the swing to an instant halt.
I slowly turned my head around to meet his prominent frown.
"I looked for you everywhere!" He condemned.
"I'm sorry." I got to my feet and soothed my dress.
"I was bored..." I shrugged.
"Yeah-I wonder why..." He spoke inaudibly and started to walk away.
"Why were you looking for me anyway?" I jog until I was walking beside him.
"We're celebrating Cole's birthday in a while." He spoke coldly.
"It's his birthday?" I grinned but he didn't catch it. So I walked forward and ignored him.
"Get in."
I notice that Adam was no longer walking behind me, he was getting into his car.
"Where to?" I frown.
"Just get in would you?!" He flares and my face falls.
I quietly get into his car.
