ThompsonI had my hair, or atleast what remained of it, perfectly curled to one side of my face.
I wore a dark purple semiformal romper with the layers overlapping and femininely twisted around the waist, emphasizing it.Madonna passes me a dark color of lipstick and I shake my head with a smile.
She rolls her eyes knowingly.
I wanted to be able to kiss Adam, alot, and for really long periods of time...
I miss his scent, I miss all of him and it's only been two hours since he's gone, since his revelation...
Since we've both declared our love for each other...My mind still hasn't digested the fact that he's in love with me-or atleast he claimed he is, infront of Madonna and Cole...
He only told me he "strongly-liked" me, but I thought that was enough for me. The fact that he was having a rough time this past month as I was, it has to give for something...He mentioned the words need and attached, they steal heartbeats of my own just thinking about them...
"They're downstairs!" Madonna calls from outside and I instantly take my bag, hurrying outside.
We leave our apartment and once we're out on the streets I'm met by Cole, leaning over Adam's car, grinning at us before his gaze lingers on Madonna who was dressed in a fabulous short flowy wine red dress.
My heart skips a beat when Adam appears, stepping out of the driver's seat.
He approaches Cole and then he pushes him aside to get the car's front seat door open.
I take a moment to process he was holding it open for me when he turns to me and cocks his head towards the front seat.
"Oh-ho-hoh!" Cole holds his fist closer to his mouth to suppress his grin.
"Smooth..." He winks at Adam and Adam throws him a glare. When he glances at me I instantly walk to him, noting his discomfort.
"Thank you." I bob my head courteously.
"Don't get used to it." He rolls his eyes but I saw traces of his smile before he shut the door and they all hopped in.
"Where's your car Cole?" I ask when I feel the tension in the air.
Adam devoted his eyes to the road and Cole and Madonna chuckled and whispered words that weren't coherent."Maintenance weekend." He grins.
"Aha..." I smiled nodding once to myself.
"So, do you stiffs mind if we make out back here?" Cole chuckles when Madonna slaps his arm. Adam doesn't react to them and I chuckle, shaking my head amusedly.
I look out the window shrugging off a bad feeling that was bubbling inside of me. Why was he feeling so stressed out?
Is he having second thoughts? And it's the first question I ask him when we get the time alone at the bar while we waited for our drinks.
He draws in a deep breath before he gently drags me closer to him.
I enjoy the touch of his hand on my waist and as his fragrance hits my nostrils, I shut my eyes for a moment, committing it to memory.
When I open my eyes, our eye contact lingers for a moment and then he sighs.
"It feels weird..." He rubs the back of his neck and I slowly gulp. I nod for him to go on and although I seemed kept together, I was in knots on the inside...
I was confused."I don't know how to act..."
"I know holding doors open, buying flowers, and maybe doing dinners too..."
"But I don't think any of these matter." He gulps and he lowers his gaze to the ground when I see the pain in his eyes.
