CHAPTER 64 Maybe, They Are Right
**RENCE’S POV**
The moment when you are peacefully enjoying a TV show while comfortably sitting in the couch with my current favorite, green mangoes, on my hands then somebody came slamming the door but instead of looking back to see who is there, you’ll just sit still and try to act normal despite the annoying sounds of two people kissing and hungry to shag. I can even visualize what’s happening right at my back because of the sounds they are making. I am sure Zac’s been kissing the girl’s neck or whichever part that is because she’s been making audible sounds of pleasure. And I bet, they are touching each other’s body and pinning each other against the wall because I can hear bodies banging it.
The feeling is unbearably disgusting.
I stood up, walk towards my room, grabbed a jacket and key and went out of that unit.
I drive, and to be honest, I don’t know where I’m going but I’m finding my way… en route to Zoe’s house.
I’m pretty lucky that the guards know me already so they just smile at me whenever I come in this subdivision and let me enter. I rang the Hernandez’ door bell. Zoe attends to me and I’m quite surprised.
“Why are you the one to see me here?” I ask her while she’s walking towards the gate I am behind.
“This is my house, you idiot,” she said while still walking with her pajamas.
“I thought you don’t come out of your room?” I asked again.
“Well my parents are almost asleep, I think, because it’s almost ten in the evening and here you go disturbing this house’s peacefulness by ringing the door bell six times,” she said with an arm in her waist.
“I did that because I think you’re all asleep and you might not hear me,” I explained.
But that is still not the best explanation for Zoe to accept and open the gate to let me in. “You should have a vital reason for being here in the middle of the night.”
“Hey, I’m your best friend; shouldn’t you be just letting me in with or without purpose?” I pretend to be upset.
“No,” she firmly said looking at me dead eye and moved her arms crossed in her chest.
“Okay. There’s something horrid happening in our unit,” I said.
“What is it?” she asked, sounding worried.
“I cannot tell you,” I answered though.
“Why?”
“It’s horrid,” I repeated seriously.
She looked at me intently, maybe trying to fathom if I’m just fooling around or something. But then, she seems to understand. “Let me guess… Zac brought a girl again?”
“Yeah right, what’s new?” I said being in the same mind.
“Well I believe that’s the only horrible thing that could possibly happen in there.”
“So can you let me in now?”
“But aren’t you supposed to be used to it?” she chose to continue the interrogation.
“Zoe??” her mom half-yelled inside the house.
“Mom. I’m outside!” Zoe replied.
Her mother came out from their front door in her pajamas also. “Who is there?”
“It’s Rence, mommy,” Zoe answered.
