CHAPTER 19 Disturbances
**DWIGHT’S POV**
She’s still what’s on my mind even after I get home.
I’m very glad that we’re enjoying both companies. I like being around her. In fact, I like to know her more.
Aside from being boyish sometimes and unconsciously attractive, I know her personality will make me like her more, or maybe even love her.
I think I did awesome today. The idea of bringing Zoe out is brilliant!
Malapit na matapos ang school year. Mahirap magkita pag bakasyon. Baka kasi umalis sila ng family nya for a vacation. And I’ll be going to Europe also. Kaya mas okay kung lumabas kami minsan.
Kung sabagay, 3 days lang naman yung bakasyon ko sa ibang bansa. Hindi ko na lang sya iinform, baka mamiss ako nun, haha!
That’s just a short time, hindi naman nya siguro mapapansin na hindi ako nagpaparamdam or nagtetext. Babalik din naman ako agad.
I went down stairs when it’s already dinner time. Sabay sabay kaming kumain pamilya.
“Kuya, ‘til when’s your school na lang?” Tanong sakin ni Cassey.
“End of March,” sagot ko.
“Pareho pala tayo. I’m so excited to go to Europe na!” - Cassey
“Cassey, we’re still way far from the 2nd week of May,” I reminded her.
She raised one brow. “Huh?” naguguluhang tanong ni Casey sa’kin.
“Dwight, we’ll be going there immediately after your school,” Dad spoke, surprising me with his plan that he didn’t even mentioned me about.
“What? Why?” I demand an answer.
“Business,” Dad simply replied.
At some point, I think okay na din yung after agad ng school year para hindi masyadong mapansin ni Zoe yung pagka-wala ko. 3 days lang naman eh, at sasabihin ko din naman sa kanyang umalis ako pagkabalik ko.
“Okay,” sabi ko na lang.
“We’ll be staying there until your next school year,” Dad added.
Recoiled at the information, I almost shouted, “ano?!”
On the other hand, Dad remained calm as he continuously eat his food, “why? Any appointments? Cancel it. This is more important.”
Ang without second thoughts, I said, “hindi ako sasama Dad.”
He looked at me questioningly. “Give me a reason.”
“Masyado ‘yong matagal.”
“So?” he replied, still composed. “We’ll be staying that long for your good, Dwight.”
“Anong – anong for me?” gulong-gulo kong tanong.
“You’ll have training. Don’t worry hindi mahirap ang training mo since bago ka naman magtapos ng college, or before you enter college, mag-ttraining ka ulit.” – Dad
