I walk out of his office.

"Could you just sit there while I go turn in my report" the officer tells me

I walk and sit in one of the empty chairs.

I look and see another office door open and Ruby walks out.

I can tell she's shook up.

"You can sit there I'll be right back" a lady officer tells her

She nods.

We make eye contact, she puts her head down and sits next to me.

"They bring you in for questioning too?" I ask her

"Yeah" she nods

"Have you even talk to her since freshman year?"

"Uh not really until recently when she ask me to help her study for a test" she tells me

"O" is all I say

"Have you talk to her?" She asks me but still refuses to make eye contact

"Just like you, haven't really talk to her until Friday when she drove me home from the game" I shrug

"Do you think something bad happened to her?" She says with tears in her eyes

She always was the sensitive one, the one you have to baby.

"I honestly don't know Ruby" I sigh not knowing what to say

"I wonder how her moms doing" she says quietly

"I'm sure she's devastated" I sigh sadly

"Maybe I should bake her something" she suggest

I try not to laugh.

"Yeah I guess you could"

We look up to see Felix and Trevor being brought in for questioning.

Trevor gives us a small smile while Felix ignores us.

"Them too" Ruby says

"I guess they are questioning everyone" I shrug

"But I don't see any other student just us" she says, she does have a point "what makes us special?"

"I guess because we grew up with her" is all I can think of

"We all were pretty close" she says quietly

"Let's wait for Trevor and Felix" I say even though I don't know why

"Okay" she says liking the idea
