"Thanks" I tell Felix as we get into his car
"What was up with him?" he asks me
"I asked him if he and Daisy were secretly dating" I tell him
"What! Just like that? And by yourself?" he looks at me like I'm crazy
"He wasn't going to kill me in the hall Felix"
"You should of told me I would of came with you"
"I don't need your protection" I glare
"Of course you don't your hazel you can take care of yourself" he mutters
"I did what had to be done" I tell him
"I mean what if he did do something to Daisy and now he knows that you know about them secretly dating, he could come after you now" he says looking at me with worried eyes
I actually didn't think about that. I am so stupid some times.
"I didn't think about that the only thing I was thinking of was Daisy" I say looking at my hands on my lap
He sighs "maybe I should stay at your house for a couple days just to keep an eye on you and make sure nothing happens"
"Your not my brother Felix you don't have to watch me" I shake my head
"I know I'm not" he looks at me with a look I can't describe "but as your friend I'm going to and it's not open for discussion" he says like its finale
"Your so stubborn" I mumble
I hear him laugh "and your not" he smirks
I roll my eyes.
I try not to feel any emotion that someone actually cares about me and my safety.
"Why are you doing this Felix?" I ask him
"Because we already lost one friend and I'm not going to lose you either" he tells me
I give him a small smile.
